About the restaurant
I love this place. It does Big American style food in a big way. It’s speciality is barbecue food, but I reckon they’ve got the best buttermilk fried chicken in London. It’s a great space for a group get together- big tables, really relaxed and noisy in a good way.

About the restaurant
If you fancy something a bit more grand, try Ned's Feast. The best thing by far is The Feast which takes place on a Sunday. Imagine the best roast dinner you’ve ever had, and then make it ALL YOU CAN EAT. You won’t believe how much amazing food there is on offer, and you can set yourself the challenge of cramming in as much as you can. The deserts alone are worth going for.

About the restaurant
This is my favourite restaurant in London. It’s my go to date night, and has the best desserts going. The building is incredible, very Art Deco and I would go for the mini-baguettes alone. It feels a bit posh, but is incredibly accessible and the menu has something for everyone.

The Wolseley has entered my top 5 high-end London restaurants. A buzzy Thursday lunchtime, with the dining room bristling with celebs, Portillo and Peston to name but two (that were in my eye line). Asparagus tart and calves liver were sensational, as was the clafoutis, service was slick despite the rotating tables. I shall definitely return..

Soho
About the restaurant
This is a perfect spot for a bit of dinner before a trip into Soho. It’s just around the corner from the Soho Theatre, which is one of the best comedy venues in the city. There are great outside tables right on Old Compton Street which makes it ideal for a sunny evening of people watching.

Pre theatre dinner was great; the cafe was packed, so noise levels were high, but it was buzzy and we enjoyed it! Despite the intensity, staff were super friendly and efficient, they couldn’t do enough for us. We had a range of food dishes, all were good. Perfect for what we needed, thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend!

About the restaurant
Have you ever had a meal that you think about every few months? Where you’re transported back to the moment the fork entered your mouth and you experienced pure perfection? I have that with Hawksmoor. The steak here is the best steak you may ever have. I don’t know what they’re doing to it, or how they’re doing it, but I think about it way too much.

Had a table for 4 and ordered from the brunch menu. My partner has a cross contamination sensitivity nuts and seeds allergy. The manager was friendly and very helpful regarding this. They explained that while the kitchen is not completely nut/seed free, the chefs are very careful with cross contamination. She had the pancakes and had no trouble with these. Lovely atmosphere and would definitely come again.

About the restaurant
This is a relaxed, British gastro pub with amazing locally sourced ingredients and an ever changing seasonal menu. It’s a good place to catch up with mates for a Sunday lunch, and is in an amazing part of town- great access to Borough Market if you’ve been inspired to go and cook your own British grub!

About the restaurant
This is the best Indian restaurant in London I reckon. It’s a bit of a trek down South East way, but worth it. They can take large bookings, so I try and go here for big group get togethers. It’s also not far from The Rivoli Ballroom which is always an amazing night out.
