We had a top notch experiencd at Dolce Vita. The service was excellent and the food was superb. We had lots of small plates and one entree, all shared. Every single dish was delicious. Special shout-out to our waiter Reyes (sp?) who patiently explained the menu to us and was very attentive, friendly, and efficient. Also a special shout-out to Elsie (sp?), their fish filet expert extraordinaire! In the beginning, our request to lower the volume of the background music was kindly honored, which we very much appreciated, but eventually someone turned it back up again, making it difficult to hear each other. But all in all, we had a wonderful experience at Dolce Vita and will go back again.

This place used to be my favorite when I was in town. However, since last October they seem to have gotten a new chef and changed the menu. I used to get the vegetable kabobs and now those are off the menu. The chicken kabobs were okay, but the garlic aioli wasn’t seasoned and didn’t taste like garlic. The angus kabobs had a good flavor, but weird texture. The mojitos, which are usually my favorite part of the restaurant, weren’t mixed and were pure syrup until I mixed it with my straw. I’ll give it another try next time I’m in town, but if it’s anything like this visit, I don’t think I’ll be back.

Had a great time at Ramsi’s this evening. Had dinner at the bar, quesadilla with mushrooms, awesome. Nizar was bartending, which always is always a fun time. Service was excellent, drinks were concoctions Nizar created and now my new favorites. Met several friends while dining. Lots of regular patrons, and always some visiting the city Ramsis reputation precedes their visit thanks to great reviews, and no one is ever disappointed. Highly recommend Ramsi’s, best restaurant in Louisville for sure.

The food, apps and dinners, for 12 people was truly fantastic. The service was very slow and the server was not knowledgeable about the menu or drinks. She didn't ask if we wanted more drinks and when we asked it took her a very long time to deliver. We sat for over two hours before our dinner was served. Overall, the food was SO good that it offset the terrible service.

We went with a group of 8. Everyone loved the food—it was fantastic! And the service was great. But we didn’t expect so many hookah smokers. If you have breathing problems, you probably won’t want to eat here. Most of us were not bothered by it, but it was definitely a factor for a few people at our table. The smoke was not heavy, and it’s not unpleasant like cigarettes, mostly a fruity smell. Parking was easy. The food portions were huge, and again, very delicious!!!
