Drinks and food were wonderful. I had the Euphorie cocktail and my husband had an old fashioned. Both were excellent. We had the mushroom ravioli and foie grois with “creme brûlée”. Both were delicious. Entrees were beef bourginon, duck breast with wild berries, scallops and lobster, and chicken breast with Brie. All were fantastic and the presentation was excellent. We finished with chocolate mousse, creme brûlée, napoleon, and Chambord soufflé. The soufflé and mousse were the best. Service was superb, from wine recommendations to attentiveness. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Bonterra is one of our go-to restaurants, the food is always amazing and the ambience is excellent! I usually go during warmer weather to sit on the best patio in Calgary, but new years day in Calgary is not conducive to dining al fresco :-) so this was my first time dining inside - not as lovely as the patio of course but it was still very nice. The food was so good - there was 6 of us for a birthday dinner and so we were able to try a good variety of items on the menu, everything was well prepared and delicious, and the Bartender's Baby cocktail special was a big hit. Best of all was our server, she was an absolute delight and very attentive and friendly (without overdoing it).

The food was excellent not to mention superbly delicious. We especially loved that as each course was served, the servers told us what the dish entailed ( special ingredient , a special spice, etc.). This very much adds to the dinning experience. I had a cocktail that was new to the menu (Fall Garden, I believe it was called) and really enjoyed it ( not too sweet) and my husband enjoyed his martini so “ kodos” to the bartender!!! (I think she was also our server). All in all, a great dining experience. We will be back …. And we will bring friends!!!

I made a reservation for myself and two friends visiting from Australia. As always, I wasn’t disappointed and my friends loved it…….from the location, the furnishings and the food and service. We shared the charcuterie board for starters and 2 of us had the mussels and clams and the other guest had the halibut. We finished with the cheesecake. The service is always great here but last night it was impeccable with explanation for dishes and checking to make sure we were happy. It’s my go to place for fine dining in Burnaby!

This was my first time at Helena and it is now my favourite restaurant in Montreal! The food was top notch. Everything we ate tasted AMAZING. What made Helena stand out is the care and attention to detail, which comes across at all levels - from having the freshest ingredients, the warm service, and even in the decor (floss and cotton buds in the washrooms!). A real treat if you're looking for a good drink, a good steak or good service. This was my second experince Hy's, the first being in Toronto, and now the second in Vancouver and neither one disappointed. The charcoal does its magic on the steaks very nicely (get the ribeye to experience the heat of the charcoal do its best). The real treat of us was the service. Monty was part of the family before the night was over sharing us tips on the best the restaurant had to offer, on point suggestions with the menu items and even told us the truth about the secret speakeasy behind the bookcase (there wasn't one but should have been). His service was great and timed our courses perfectly to the fit the cadence of our table and I observed similar with our neighbors. I would go back and specifically ask to sit in Monty's section when I return. A great night all the way around! Thank you.

Make this a destination when in Vancouver. Travelling from the UK we were given the place as a must go to, by a Canadian friend and it didn’t disappoint. Great staff, wine list carefully created and the sommelier helped us find the perfect match for our food, and the food was perfect, two of our group had a pasta dish which they raved about, my friend and I had the pork belly special that was cooked perfectly. The ambience is buzzy but not overbearing, people waxing lyrical about the food no doubt. Will return if ever back in Vancouver !

Would recommend highly to family and friends. Only criticism - a tad loud and the 2 seat tables were tight for space and were beside the bar which caused the increased noise level. Even tho the cost was fairly high the food was excellent. Portions are too large as even an 8 oz prime rib roast was monstrous! Big portions of side vegetables is enough for 3-4 people. Only fault is I ordered flourless chocolate cake but was served chocolate fudge cake which I didn’t care for. Dinner for 2 with cocktails, 1glass wine, coffee & dessert just under $200. Very nice ambiance and server was excellent.

We really enjoyed it there. The weather was not cooperating - so we sat inside beside a big window. Our server was very attentive, the bartender was sweet and our food arrived in a timely manner. It was hot and delicious. We will be back for sure!!!

First time here and will definitely be back. We were thrilled to find this amazing restaurant open on a Monday! Food was beautifully presented. My salmon dish was delicious- the skin was crispy and tasty on a beet, arugula and goat cheese bed. The wine pairing was perfect. Our server Naomi was very professional and knowledgeable. My friends and I (party of 10) had dinner here to celebrate 3 Sept babies. This is not my first time; my friends have never been before, and S.T. did not disappoint - from food, ambiance and top-notch service we received from our amazing Rony who was amazing! A warm welcome upon entering, and a cozy tent seating area is magnificent. The food is delicious! 8 of us had the lamb shank and the other two tried the seafood dishes. We devoured our lamb shanks and the saffron rice with our side vegetables were amazing! We couldn't finish our desserts that night that came with our 3-course meal $75 but I am sure for those who have big appetite, the 3-course is a good value. The entertainment is amazing although I think $30 just to watch 10-minute belly dancers should you choose to order the a la carte would not be a good choice. We truly enjoyed our dinner and I highly recommend to everyone! Expect to pay $125 per person for this dining experience but it's worth it.
