We have a wonderful tradition of dining here and enjoying the Christmas displays for the new year. The food is always delicious and we love the mushroom soup. Their menu is always impressive with chef specials as well. We look forward to the special dessert, the delicious & fun Pomme de Noel. We went to Brennans for a New Years dinner as well as a late celebratory dinner for my 2 year olds birthday dinner. I had a 2 year old, a 6 year old and my spouse present. My children were fairly noisy, and playful and the wait staff were very friendly and helpful as well as brought them cotton candy and treats to the table. I never felt uncomfortable having children present for fine dining, and had a great dinner experience. The traditional cabbage and black eyed pea single bite appetizer spoons were delicious, even my 6 year old loved it. My waitress was a sweet younger woman originally from New England, She wore glasses and I hate that I can’t remember her name, but she was very soft spoken and sweet and made the experience much more enjoyable. We will be back to try the 2nd quarter menu but this time as an adults only New Orleans vacation.

D’Zhari and Prince were wonderful. The food was amazing. Fara was an amazing server, friendly and adorable. We loved her. Food was great. Chairs and tables are close together in the Presidential Room, and speakers with loud country music playing made it so everyone close around us was talking loudly to compensate. I didn't really care to hear the people behind me and their conversation. This is of course not a reflection on Patti's and doesn't change us returning soon! Freaky day because it was not supposed to rain, but it's LA so of course it rained and we had windy gusts on the outside...BUT...Perch has blankets!. Had a great New Year's Day 1:00 p.m. brunch with a couple each of Benedict's and corned beef hashes. I really love the atmosphere here and the food used to be very good (I even had my bridal shower here), but the last view times I’ve been here the food just seems tired. The menu hasn’t changed for a long time and there was nothing I was really excited to order (and they ended up being out of the first two things I settled on…). I wish they would update the menu and switch things up a little!

Always a treat to dine at the Select!!! The food was great, but my steak entree (ordered medium rare) was over-cooked closer to medium-well. The menu also says steak and egg(s) plural, but I only was served one egg? It would be my suggestion to serve a slightly smaller filet at maybe 6 or 7 ounces vs. the 8 ounce offering and add an egg to the dish to maintain the "cost-side" of the offering. Our appetizers were excellent, especially the French Onion soup (always a favorite) and were sharable for the table of 3. Furthermore, our service delivery was excellent, and our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing. We will be back!
