$$$$Price: Very ExpensiveAfternoon Tea
The Annex
The location is absolutely beautiful! What better place to have high tea than in a castle?! The servers were all very polite, professional, and helpful. The sandwiches were delicious. The desserts however were far too sweet, even compared to high tea in most other places I've been to. And the servers poured our tea as soon as they brought each pot to the table which didn't give it nearly enough time to steep. But overall, everything was very well organized, the plates looked beautiful. The atmosphere was great. Despite how many people there were, it wasn't too crowded or loud in the dining area. And although the price was a little higher, it did include the $40 admission to Casa Loma, so taking that into consideration, it wasn't too bad. It would have been great to have been given the option on how much to tip rather than that being automatically added to the price. The nicer places usually don't do that, and it always seems a but unprofessional to me.
