Such a beautiful location overlooking the water . The food was fantastic ! It is a little pricey but very delicious and nice environment . Only thing that we thought was not great service is that valet didn’t park our car, they had us self park and still charge us like a full price valet service .

We went to Brennans for a New Years dinner as well as a late celebratory dinner for my 2 year olds birthday dinner. I had a 2 year old, a 6 year old and my spouse present. My children were fairly noisy, and playful and the wait staff were very friendly and helpful as well as brought them cotton candy and treats to the table. I never felt uncomfortable having children present for fine dining, and had a great dinner experience. The traditional cabbage and black eyed pea single bite appetizer spoons were delicious, even my 6 year old loved it. My waitress was a sweet younger woman originally from New England, She wore glasses and I hate that I can’t remember her name, but she was very soft spoken and sweet and made the experience much more enjoyable. We will be back to try the 2nd quarter menu but this time as an adults only New Orleans vacation.

How Cafe Monarch does not have one or two stars in the Guide Michelin is a complete mistrust to me!

Regularly come here, and came this time to celebrate my recent birthday. Ordered the special Porterhouse steak from Florence (!) to share, which came with broccolini, mushrooms and potatoes, and it was divine! I ordered a glass of red wine to accompany the entree, and the waiter recommended a better wine to go with the meal, and he was right. Highly recommend dinner here!

The food is fresh, delicious, and very well priced for the portion and quality. My family and I usually order takeout and enjoy it at the beach nearby. The food is perfectly suited for a casual picnic. As it was rainy winter’s day, we dined in. The macadamia crusted fish is always a hit. I highly recommend it as well as the rib and chicken plate. Ask your server for off the menu specials in case you’re looking for something different from the usual menu. The quality and freshness of the mac/nut fish is on par and surpasses some of the more upscale, expensive, 5 star restaurants in San Diego. Their appetizers are also delightful, like the coconut shrimp. The servers and front of house staff are kind and attentive; and make great recommendations. Our server was very kind to offer a complimentary dessert as a couple in our party was celebrate their wedding anniversary. This is great place to dine in the village with family and out of town guests. The patio offers a lovely view of the beach and coastline. Overall, a wonderful experience as always.

We haven’t been to Ophelia’s since before Covid but we missed the experience and we were hopeful that things were still the same. From the warm greeting to the excellent service and extraordinary food, we were reminded why we love this restaurant and consider it one of the best around. While we traveled over an hour from Punta Gorda (which has no shortage of great restaurants) we were thrilled to be back and look forward to returning soon. Our server Chris was friendly and efficient and the kitchen turned out 4 perfect meals that left us all completely satiated!!!

Salt rock grill is one of the best Restaurants in Florida hands down. A lot of other places you pay more for less or more greasy fried versions. There early dine options are very yummy, price friendly and even three course. With even very reasonable drink prices in that time frame. They know how to do it right from start to finish. It’s the highlight of eating out for us when we come to Florida. The Sea Bass option is fantastic, and rock the boat. The kids steak and shrimp for $10 is wonderful. Had a great New Year's Day 1:00 p.m. brunch with a couple each of Benedict's and corned beef hashes. The only thing weird was the bloody Mary which seemed like it was just made with vegetable juice, vodka, and lacked flavor. You would think a place like Spencer's would have a signature bloody Mary that would be great, not the case yesterday.

Atmosphere and food choices very unique; the wood fire smell lingers throughout the restaurant giving it a true florida feel. Meals were a bit pricey but nothing is quite like this restaurant. I had the chili; where else can you get a combination of Alligator, wild boar, venison, duck, ground chuck, cranberry beans and chili spices?! Was tender and so filling!
