Oyster Bar | Newburyport, Boston Suburbs

Dropped into Brine on a rainy Sunday afternoon to have lunch with a friend. We sat at the bar and the bartender makes the most beautiful drinks. Had a great time watching him make traditional cocktails in a traditional manner, they were delicious. We sat and enjoyed rounds of oysters and a fish and chips meal. The food was done very well, the staff was most pleasant and I only wish I could get there more often. Its a somewhat limited menu, but I am a survivor and always find something I can eat. Yes, I suppose it was a bit costly but I had such a good time, I didn't care. More

Seafood | Newburyport, Boston Suburbs

Excellent in every way! It didn't hurt that the weather was also beautiful, but the restaurant itself is lovely with a great ambiance and vibe. Garage-style doors open up the side facing the water complete during nice weather. There's patio seating as well, but make sure to put in the request well ahead of time as patio seating is not guaranteed. Food was excellent and reasonably priced considering the quality and level of service and style. Service from everyone was outstanding...professional and friendly, timed very well (not too fast or too slow.) I highly recommend! More

French American | Newburyport, Boston Suburbs

My wife and I went to Ceia's for our 2 year wedding anniversary and 1st Father's Day for breakfast at the recommendation of a friend. Everything about this place is stellar. The atmosphere is so relaxing with great design all throughout, and the open kitchen on the 2nd floor is such a great feature. Our server, Casey, was so welcoming & friendly. She also makes a phenomenal drink! My wife got the Avocado Toast and I got the daily special...two poached eggs with Hollandaise over Porchetta rolled with house-made sausage. No exaggeration, this meal was akin to a religious experience and we cannot wait to be back for dinner!! More
