Contemporary American | Stockbridge, Western MA

My wife had not been to the Red Lion for many years, so this was a dream of hers. We arrived early for our Father's Day reservation and enjoyed coffee and tea on the porch, which is a good idea! You get to sit and enjoy the passersby while enjoying your beverage and conversation. Our waitstaff was a wonderfully friendly, warm, helpful, and generally great person. The food was delicious and well prepared. Dinner at an expensive restaurant is not usually part of our lifestyle, so we enjoyed lunch and the difference in price! We even got to enjoy a dessert. We would love to return for another fabulous meal. More

Discover Stockbridge

Stockbridge is synonymous with the American lobster, but that is not the only food that you must taste when you visit this great neighborhood. Older English cooking methods blend with modern cooking standards, and most of the ingredients are familiar to Native Americans, including corn, shellfish, game, potatoes, maple syrup and cranberries. In Stockbridge, you will enjoy New England boiled dinner, roast beef and Stockbridge fried chicken. There are food fests where residents showcase the best of local and international cuisines. The neighborhood is also a great place to grab Italian and Indian dishes, and all of these options pair well with good local wines.
