Maggiano's - Boston
Good experience. No other comment
Great food as always!!!
The service and food were fantastic!
We always enjoy Maggiano's. The atmoshpere is friendly and the service is attentive. We tried some new specials that were delicious (seafood fondue appetizer) Portions are large. The fra diavlo was not very spicy so we added some crushed red pepper. Wine selection was good, but sangria could have had a little more wine and less juice, but still flavorful. Highly recommend Maggiano's for consistent good food and service.
It was my son’s birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed it!
waitress was the BEST and food servers were outstanding. Food was served hot and wasvery good
Our server was amazing....polite, attentive, quick, prompt. The food was delicious as always. The wait time was mininum. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated. I chose to celebrate my birthday here and it was the perfect choice!
Although the food was very good, the portions were significantly smaller than in the past, and at the prices charged they are no longer a good value. The service was abominable! The waiter wandered away after only taking the order for half of our party, then food arrived in dribs and drabs delivered by people who had no idea who had ordered what. Two members of our party wound up waiting at least 20 minutes to receive their food after everyone else has been served. The food does still taste good though
We went for a family dinner while kids were home for the holiday. Food was delicious. Skeptical on the family-style menu, but it turned out great! We tried some news dishes, and the old faithful, chicken parm, never disappoints. Lots of hustle and bustle, large parties and small. I like the noise, I know we can talk and have a good laugh, without feeling inappropriate. All the staff that we came in contact with were helpful, friendly, and even though some only spoke Italian, they all made our family dinner a great one!
We had a great experience. The food is delicious, of course, but the staff is outstanding. They treat you like family. This was the first place we ate on our first trip to Boston, and we have to return on every visit.
Fantastic as always! Great food, service and ambiance!
Decorated nicely for the holidays
We married and had an intimate reception at Maggiano’s two years ago. We enjoy the food and ambience. A sweet reminder of our love.
I like Maggianos and never went there for brunch before. I can say that my french toast was amazing! My coffee was very bitter and I asked for a fresh cup which was much better. Also, I made reservations for 10:30 am and the door posted hours starting at 11:00 am so it was confusing and we were their first customers. The music was lovely- Frank Sinatra and beautiful decorations for Christmas. My only concern was that the hostess was a bit aloof, but our waiter was very friendly and courteous!
Always consistent and not expensive, this is a great place to go with a large group. That being said, it can get noisy and a bit on the chaotic side. This is not a great place for intimate conversation. The food is good and plentiful (again, both a good thing and a bad thing). Order wisely! The portions are enormous. Sharing is a great idea. Love the bread. Love the appetizer options. The wine is great and again, reasonably priced.
We WILL go back. We always do.
Authentic Italian dining at a very reasonable price. A broad menu to satisfy every member of our family. Staff was friendly and attentive, the food excellent and the atmosphere very relaxing. The dining area is quite elegant and the historical building is very interesting.
We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and we had a very relaxing time. Our waiter was wonderful too. Very sweet and attentive.
This was our first Thanksgiving at Maggiano’s. The staff, food and ambiance was great.
We always enjoy our time here! We have made it a tradition to have thanksgiving here when we are not with family. Food is excellent and worth every penny as we always have leftovers!
Dined out on Thanksgiving for the first time, and it was a great experience. The food, portions, and service were all great.
We decided to try doing something different for Thanksgiving this year and made reservations at Maggiano's. We have eaten here before and always loved the food. We were given several options to choose from and everything we chose was delicious! The staff were all wonderful and not having to cook or clean up after a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner was a huge bonus!
Food was great. We did not expect to have to order off a special menu because it was Thanksgiving but the food was great Regardless. Service was terrific.
We have spent Thanksgiving at Maggiano’s at least 8 times over the years. It has always been an enjoyable experience. The waitstaff is pleasant and attentive. The plate value for this event is excellent. We always have multiple leftovers which extends the holiday. Our only quibble would be that this year’s turkey was uncharacteristically salty
Always a group favorite. Quick and tasty food that is family friendly
Charlene was great! Food was great! The experience was fantastic!!!
Wonderful service. Delicious food. Overall great place to have dinner. Price overall good but definitely watch what you spend if you are interested in saving money there are plenty of ways to do so and still have an amazing meal and time here!!!!
Love coming to this place...even though it has been four years after. Only issue was that I received my food very late but was worth the wait!
Loved the family style serving. We arrived early and had great service. Once other parties arrived, there did not appear to be additional waiter staff and service was marginal. Had to wait over one hour for our check, no water refills and too loud in the room. Food was good and waiter made great suggestions for wine and food. I would not return because I was looking for better service and quieter atmosphere.
We had a really nice time. Our server got our take home dinners messed up, but other than that all was perfect.
Great food, service and atmosphere! Great spot for dinner before a show!
Was seated and waited 15 minutes for a server. Had to actually ask someone to serve us. Ordered the risotto fritters. Took one bite and half of it was still frozen! Had the veal cutlet parmigiana. It tasted like a veal cutlet from a local sub shop. The manager said it was just overcooked.
The waiter was not very friendly. Had a bad drink and he didn’t offer to replace it
We were suppose to be in a corner for a friends 50 th birthday and was put in the middle of the room very close to the next table
Excellent food and service. Really enjoyed our meal.
Every time I visit maggianos, it is an excellent experience!
Wonderful food, fun atmosphere, terrible, inattentive waitress who made us late for the theatre. We’ve had much better and expect much better!
Delicious food, good service, I wish they had read the reservation saying it was for a birthday with a little dessert- but was happy with my experience.
As always, everything was great.
We had a nice dinner but our table had a slant to it - kind of weird and a little challenging. Entrees were delicious. Bruschetta was disappointing - not authentic and poorly presented - and when they were out of one of the three we ordered, they brought the other two and didn’t ask if we wanted to substitute something else. We were never asked if we wanted more wine or water. It was a busy Saturday night, although on the early side at 5:45, and we were glad to be seated promptly and finish with plenty of time to get to our 8pm show.
The food was wonderful! Our waiter was attentive and kind. Overall great experience!
