Rice, Mixed Seafood, Lobster
Mariscada en Salsa Verde
Lobster & Seafood, Parsley Sauce
I was sadly disappointed with the menu choices for the Mother's Day dinner. I was assuming that since we were eating in the main dining room, that I would be able to order off the regular menu and that was not the case. What I wanted and wished for was not available and I had to settle. The waiter did accommodate me when I asked him to leave mussels out of my mariscada.
I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid and it had some great memories for me, but taking my kids there, it was not what I hyped it up to be.
I hope it was because the menu was limited, but you're not even able to see a full menu online at all, so I probably will not return. So sad... 40 years of going somewhere and always being happy, one night too that away..
The live harp music was a nice touch, but the dining experience was pretty mediocre at best. The paella was a bit salty and not served in a pan as it traditionally is- instead in individual plates. The servers did their job and accommodated our requests when asked/ prompted, but weren’t too friendly or attentive. Overall, was pricey for what you get. Not sure if I’ll be returning.
To avoid the usual Mother's Day crowds, we went on Friday evening instead. There was a large group of people at a table by the wall, but they were very jovial and not at all annoying. The restaurant was very busy, but the waiters maintained their professional skills and courtesy. We had 2 kinds of paella and our son had the stuffed lobster. All were excellent choices, as were the artichokes vinaigrette appetizer and the key lime pie dessert. The best of all though was the (seemingly) endless pitcher of Sangria! A wonderful truly Spanish restaurant in northern Queens...
The food and service were outstanding.
As always we had a wonderful evening and the food was excellent
Management and staff were excellent
Go and enjoy a great meal
Delicious as always. Service was great.
The food was excellent. We both had osso buco and the escargot. I want to try the paella I saw it at someone’s table and it looked so good. The service was a little slow but that allowed us to stay just a bit longer.
My husband and I went to Marbella for the first time last night and like every review I had read, it did not disappoint. The food and service were top notch and the harpist added a lovely touch to our dining experience. Our water glasses were continuously refilled and The maitre d came over several times to check in with us. A bit pricey but well worth it especially for a special occasion.
Marbella is a great restaurant for Spanish food. The paella is outstanding. The service is wonderful and they let us take our time enjoying dinner. Always a great meal.
Juan and Servando have the best Spanish restaurant in NYC. Great ambiance, live music and delicious food and attentive service!
Very classy restaurant. Excellent service. The food was delicious. The sangria was heavenly.
As always, everything was perfect!
Always have a great meal at Marbellas, staff, service and food all excellent.
Wonderful experience from start to finish. They just reopened from being closed within NYC limits for COVID indoor dining regulations. They were very happy to be reopened and seeing customers back, while being extremely COVID cautious. We ordered the seafood paella- super delicious and filled with a ton of fresh seafood (clams, shrimp, scallops, lobster, mussels, etc) huge portion and cooked to perfection. It takes 20-30 minutes as it is cooked to order. They do a presentation at the table as they serve you and you can tell they take pride in what they are serving. Crapes for dessert ... another great experience as it was cooked at the table. Once a month they have a flamingo show with a price fixed dinner. Overall 2 thumbs up and look forward to returning. Highly recommend.
My husband and I always feel at home here and are greeted by name upon entry without us having to check in. The manager and entire staff are so pleasant and make us feel like family. :).
We absolutely love the food and the raspberry tart with raspberry drizzle is the BEST!!! The service is always professional and a pleasure to speak with. The atmosphere is lovely and the musician who plays the harp is so very talented and adds eloquence to an already elegant place to dine.
If you haven't already been here, it's a MUST to dine at with your significant other and/or family and friends. YOU'LL LOVE IT!
My husband and I have frequented this restaurant for decades. We love it! It never disappoints. Even thru the pandemic the staff has maintained great food, greater service and a welcoming atmosphere while following all the CDC recommended guidelines. We thank our lucky stars that it has been able to stay open and survive where so many other restaurants have not.
Great service that matched the food. Sangria is made to order. The Spanish coffee at the end was a perfect way to finish a meal.
The service was excellent and the food was excellent as in past dining
Outstanding food and service as usual
the food was excellent as well as the service. they took every precaution to keep social distancing, hand sanitizer on the table, and took our temperature upon entering
there was also a harp playing during our dinner. just a great experience!
Has always been one of our all time favorite restaurants
Fabulous food and service! And the harpist added to the wonderful evening we had! We traveled from Northern Westchester to meet family & will be back!
The food was great and the service was even better!
All necessary precautions were taken to ensure a safe outdoor dining experience. Food was exceptional and service was top notch.
Great food great service
Marbella has done a beautiful job transforming their parking lot into an outside restaurant. You don't even realize you are in a parking lot. It is a covered area with a harpist playing. All the wait staff is wearing masks and are very accommodating. The menu is accessed by using a QR Reader on your smartphone so it is contactless. The emapanadillas are delicious! We enjoyed the stuffed sole and paella along with the Spanish beer and red wine. And we had the Marbella crepes for dessert. Excellent all around!! I've been twice and will continue to go weather permitting.
You will have a great time and the food is delicious
In parking lot for Covid precautions but was as comfortable as possible.
Owner was very attentive to our satisfaction.
Food was quite good and authentic. Excellent sangria
Great use of outdoor space. Overhead lighting, decorations, clean white tablecloths, impeccable service, great food.
We had dinner on rooftop terrace. It’s part of the garage that they have sectioned off and made into a nice dining area. It’s all covered which is nice and nicely lit. The food, as always is fantastic. The staff all so happy to welcome you to the restaurant. We were not rushed, the staff all had masks and gloves. Great night!
The restaurant is a tapas restaurant culturally known as a meal ordered slowly. Not a quick bite.
If they close at 9, they should not take 7:30 reservations. The waiters were stacking tables and telling us the cook wanted to go home at 8:30.
It was a disappointment. We unfortunately won’t be back.
Food is always great here. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I went with a family of four. The seating was situated on the garage rooftop. The setup was nice. I waited for some time for the dinner to arrive. The food was good. The paella was good.
Such great ambiance. Owner and staff are so personable and ready to fulfill your every wish. Food is outstanding and it is so much fun to dine outdoors!
Top notch service ambience was excellent overall had a great time and the presentations were all on point.
While my other three companions’ meals were very good, the special I ordered (veal osso buco) was terrible. The meat was difficult to cut and chew when it should have fallen off the bone. Very disappointed.
Wonderful, as always! Great sangria. All of the dishes were very tasty
Marbella is a modern restaurant reminiscent of a past lost. The ambiance, the service and many of the servers seem like new found treasure and their desire to please the customer supersedes the quality of the food which is very good also.
Great food & service! Couldn’t have asked for a better time
Ive been coming to this restaurant for many years, but moved out of the area a few years ago. A few days ago I returned and I'm pleased to report it is still an excellent dining experience. The ambience is "old school" with banquets, heavy high back chairs and red accents throughout. There are table cloths and the waiters wear suits or tuxs. Their attention to detail is "old school" also. The Sangria is made the traditional way, not just wine with floating fruit. The paella is delicious, and the bread is hot. But the best aspect of the evening was the service. Our server was an older gentleman who clearly took pride in professional service. It was delight to watch him prepare several table side dishes. The dessert crepes were made using an intricate method using the finest liquors and flambeed. He also prepared the Irish coffee table side, first lighting the whisky in the glass, coating the rim, and topping off the finished product with real whipped cream. He did everything with a smile. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Some tips: we had a reservation and came in at 8pm during the week. It is known to get crowded on weekends and/or earlier in the evening.
