Beautiful and overall wonderful experience for out of town guests or regulars.
Good experience celebrating my wife’s
We have eaten here on several occasions and enjoy this restaurant. We particularly like it because they have a very good wine store at the restaurant where you can pick your wine for dinner. The food has been consistently good as well as the service. The only complaint I have, and it is minor, is that the fans throughout the restaurant were demonstrably filthy. I don’t know how a manager could overlook that. I don’t think that we are that picky but for a restaurant of this quality, I would think that they would notice.
Amazing view of the lakes, food was excellent, Tyler the food runner was above and beyond and the gentleman manager with long hair ( I’m sorry I didn’t get the name ) was excellent as well thank you all for another great lunch!
Overall it was a good experience. Restaurant could deff use some cleaning. Floor was dirty and windows were dirty which took away from the view of the water.
My wife and I have eaten here several times and usually the food and service is very good. I think something has changed recently since this latest dining experience was awful. We had reservations for 7 and we arrived on time nobody at the Hostess podium and other staff walking around the restaurant and bar seem to intentionally avoid making eye contact or at least let us know somebody would be with us shortly. After several minutes Hostess finally showed up and seated us in a table in the corner with a nice view but no lighting. Couldn't even read the menu without our cell phones. We asked if they could bring us a candle along with napkins and silverware which weren't on the table. Finally came back with the napkins and sold where but forgot the candle. After several minutes waiter finally came back and apologized they didn't have any candles so I had to make my own with my cell phone and a piece of bread over the LED light so that we could at least see the table. After taking our order no appetizers just 1 course for each of us at the table we then waited over 45 minutes for the food to finally arrive. Two steaks with french fries they were good, one bowl of pasta with lobster with cream sauce the sauce tasted like it was out of a box very grainy. And two french onion soups which were disgusting. A small cup instead of a normal french onion soup bowl as I would expect. One hard piece of bread on top of the soup with a small sprinkling of cheese. After all this I asked to speak to the manager and was told oh the owner was just here but he left sorry nobody in management here now. The last time I will ever eat there. Fortunately here in Las Vegas there are so many choices available I can easily take my business elsewhere.
We really want to love Marche Bacchus, but every time we give it another chance, we're reminded why we don't. First, we arrived for our 8PM reservation and no hostess was at the stand to greet or seat us. Another couple walked in a few minutes after us so the four of us stood there awkwardly with zero acknowledgment or eye contact from any staff member, including the several people behind the bar or waitstaff whipping in and out of the kitchen right next to us. When the couple behind us finally went to the bar to ask if there was a hostess after about 5 minutes, a girl replied, "that's me." No apology for the wait and no acknowledgement that we were even in the restaurant. Wild. Once we were sat, our server was polite and friendly enough, but I don't want to have to ask for shared plates AFTER the apps arrive. Meals were coursed extremely slowly and the food was average at best (medium rare lamb was served very rare, the roast chicken was swimming in butter & our chocolate mousse was still frozen when served). Worst of all, the amount of dust we saw on the ceiling fan and filthy window pane overlooking the lake was alarming. Truly I'm stunned not one person who works there has ever thought to clean 2 inch+ thick layer of dust from the ceiling fan swirling above diners' heads. I share this review in hopes management takes feedback like this seriously. The location overlooking the water, the wine market and the vibes have so much potential. With some serious attention to detail, improvement in food quality and service, Marche could be the perfect date spot. Unfortunately right now, it's a big miss for me.
Marche Bacchus has the yummiest escargot!
Very nice evening fir a date. Great wine selections available
Place was extremely dirty and the service was so so. Our pasta was good but not for the price they charge. Was a disappointed birthday celebration!!!
The menu has been reduced, ok we can blame that on Covid. Although the flavor of the food was very good, the service was lacking. It may have been short staffing, so they will blame that on Covid too. The patio we were seated in is closed off with glass, so the ambience of being lakeside was sort of moot. Everything about the service was just a bit off, mostly small details about the service, but enough to be noticeable.
Not what it use to be. Service staff has changed and our experience was they were not very attentive. Waiter passed table three times and mentioned he’d bring more iced tea. Wasn’t until meal was finished when more tea came. The restaurant was not that busy, otherwise I might have understood. For what you pay, the professionalism does not match the cost. Escargot should be accompanied by French baguette not Sourdough bread. Onion soup size was laughable Literally a “cup”. That’s changed from before. Sad to see. We assume new ownership.
Great location and exceptional service. Food was... well horrible. My wife had the Duck which smelled so bad she pushed it to the edge of the table to escape the smell. The lobster pasta dish I had was 98% butter and extremely bland. The dining area was extremely dirty. Cobwebs in the windows, a thick layer of dust on decor, dirt and grime along windows and I doubt they’ve washed a window or glass door in year. It made me wonder how dirty the kitchen is. It’s a neat setup, but the lack of attention to basic cleanliness kills it.
While waiting for the check I booked another restaurant where my wife and I enjoyed an exception meal to celebrate her 50th Birthday.
I will not recommend or return.
Really good food that goat chz and truffle app its bomb and everything was delicious, great value wine and lovely venue
The food here is quite good, and the setting is nice. What is really special about this restaurant is the wine selection. There is an excellent wine shop on site, which is strong on older vintages, and good prices. The restaurant will serve you any bottle in the shop for just a few bucks over the shop price. The wine by the glass selection is outstanding: on my visit there was an excellent 2014 Chassagne Montrachet for $19 per glass.
Food is always fabulous! we enjoyed brunch outdoor. Fantastic weather
It's been a few years since we've been to MB, but we will need to return more frequently. Every food item was delicious, including the goat cheese appetizer, the caviar service and the scallops risotto. Do wish they had a few more Rose by the glass offerings!
We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years and recently something has changed. The food quality and service has just not been the same. It is the most fantastic, intimate location but at the end of the day it’s all about the food. Hopefully they’ll fix it because we would miss coming here.
Meals were tasty and worth the cost. Able to bring our own wine with a $25 corkage fee.
The service was slow. Our server was to bring an item & it took at least 10 minutes ( Tabasco, refill of water, refill of champagne for our “bottomless “ Mimosas) for each item. Our eggplant terrine was cold, our escargot was cold.
The shrimp was not cooked and the rice hard in the Risotto. By the time I got it back, the rest of my party had finished their meals. They forgot the table next to us. They sat there at least 10 minutes before anyone came to their table.
Escargot and French onion soup was excellent! Steak and foie gras was one of the best I’ve had in the States!! We’ll be back 😋
Birthday dinner. All good was excellent. Our waiter, Oliver was outstanding and food was great. I had filet and others had seafood risotto; mussels and escargot. Wish they would have lamb on menu but maybe next time!
Always very good… love the BLUNCH menu!!
Cute little gem! Excellent experience all around! We will be back.
Very good food. Buss boy never cleared. Waitress Very charming.
Wonderful lunch with old friends where the ambiance and food is as good as the company.
Came for my boyfriend’s birthday. It’s a really nice ambiance and the food is delicious. I ordered the French onion soup and the steak frites. They were delicious. I could have used a little more of the chimichurri sauce on top of the steak. The service was very professional, but not stuffy. Highly recommend!
Good dining experience had nice views of the lake
For the first time in the many years we have been coming here we felt very disappointed. Service was delayed, silverware ser up was not on the table until we asked for it, just after the appetizers were served. Steaks were not cooked well. Steak knives had to be requested since they never brought them to the table. We actually had to return my husband steak because it was passed well done and hard to chew (he had asked for a medium steak). I don’t like to make negative comments… but today it was too much
Food and everything was great except the outdoor sitting on a 109 degree weather. They do have misters and fans, but I’m just an ac person lol
Summer and hot isn't the best time to go there, any other time, it's great. My food was good, I got the menu item I asked for but it was someone else's order, with changes to the order. Host wasn't the friendliest person. Tried to seat us in the sun, on a 100°+ day.
It was very hot and muggy outside. The over head lights shine in your eyes and made it unpleasant. There were no musters where they sat us. So we skipped dessert and went elsewhere. Unfortunate since it was my birthday. But the service was great as always
Great food, great ambiance. Nice to be able to select your wine from the shop with reasonable prices.
Wonderful food and ambiance as usual. They were short staffed, but servers were working their butts off! You don’t want to hurry through a meal here anyway.
Food was good but not great. I could make most of the same stuff at home for 1/3 of the price. My wife got the duck which was one of the best dishes, especially the truffle mashed potatoes. The patio seating and the view were great.
Not sure where to start… fantastic location, extensive wine list, mediocre food (lots of frozen Ingredients they try to pass off as house made), and literally the worst service I’ve experienced in Las Vegas as a local. Without question, there was not one thing they got right. The lack of service became the most memorable part of the evening… I could go into details, but let’s just say they’re charging for fine dining, but it’s one step above Applebee’s with a good wine list, and if you need something from your waiter, reset your expectations. By the way, our waiter was very nice, and he did his best, but clearly, management is not training their staff. The problem wasn’t with one individual waiter… it’s their entire front of house system. It’s a circus. I’ll definitely be back once it goes under new management. Great location, awesome wine list. As far as food goes, I’d stick with the cheese plate.
This is truly a hidden gem in Las Vegas. This is our second time and will be back again.
Great service and nice atmosphere but the brunch menu was very disappointing
