American | York Harbor, Maine

Unfortunately our salad and hot appetizer came out simultaneously. The Caesar dressing was lacking in flavor and portion. The hostess did bring more but it tasted flat. I ordered mashed potatoes and received plain white rice. Thirdly our food was not very hot indicating it probably sat before being served. Our dinner seemed rushed despite it was not real crowded. My husband ordered the special” rack of lamb it was not juicy as expected. Pretty inn but food is just mediocre. More

Discover York Harbor

York Harbor, is a small coastal town that offers its visitors and residents plenty of food to enjoy. Since it sits on the rocky Maine oceanfront, it should come as no surprise that York Harbor is a great place to find lobster. Whether you're in the mood for a whole steamed lobster, lobster pie, a clambake or a lobster roll, it will not be hard to track down these classic dishes. Other seafood options include fish and clam chowders and fried clam rolls. There are also a number of pubs offering traditional American fare. For an after dinner treat, stop into a local ice cream shop and get some Indian Pudding ice cream for a sweet New England specialty.
