I had an amazing experience at Terra!! The service was great and fast, and the food… amazing. Everything from the bread to salads to pastas, WOW! I was thoroughly impressed. Not to mention how beautiful it is! We had sat at 3:30 and with the restaurant closing from 4-5pm for turnover, I was skeptical if service would dull down/ be more rush. Our server was SO nice and attentive and did not treat us any different no matter the time. Something I really value as a guest and with my experience as a service, it’s something I look out for. Overall, such a great experience at Terra and I can’t wait to return!!

Harvest is a local treasure! At a time when nice restaurants are struggling to survive, come to the place where Julia child dined (with her back to the body of the restaurant so she wouldn’t be disturbed). The tables are a reasonable distance apart, and you can have a conversation. The food is excellent. The waitstaff are unfailingly kind and attentive. It’s not inexpensive. But it’s worth every penny. As the square is increasingly populated by places that are deafeningly loud, It’s competition has dwindled. It’s delicious, civilized, and you leave feeling cared for and with a warm glow. It cannot be improved upon, and I am delighted it exists!

This was our second visit to the new Eastern Standard before a Red Sox game. Thrilled that the restaurant is back in business!!!! Loved to see many of the food items from the first restaurant remain on the menu with a few new tasty additions. Our meals (food, cocktails, wine) were delicious and our server very personable, professional and attentive. We''ll definitely be back again this Red Sox season!!!

Alden and Harlow has spectacular foods with amazing cocktails. They love putting carrots in many dishes. Their service is top tier: never an empty water glass, food coming as you finish, and they got us in and out in 45 min full of delicious tapas and drinks. Definitely recommend.

Beantown, dubbed for the baked beans that put the city on the map, is about far more than beans these days. Local restaurants channel the region’s farm-to-table traditions and celebrate the iconic seafood of New England’s coast—no trip to the region is complete without a proper lobster (pronounced “lob-stah,” steamed and served with butter and corn on-the-cob), freshly shucked oysters, fried clams—you name it. Hometown to a handful of internationally influential female restaurateurs and the inimitable legacy of Julia Child, who called Cambridge home, Boston will always be a city where liberal sensibilities meet a global approach, in politics and on the plate.
