Thanks LJ for your wonderful and welcoming hospitality. She made sure everything was as it should be in a genuine way. Her welcome set the stage for the great food that followed. Lemon Ricotta pancakes were light and flavorful. Definitely a 10 out of 10. My over-easy medium eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The tater tots and hash browns, yes please and thank you. Also, don't forget to try the peanut butter. It's delicious!

Capital Grille continues to be the best restaurant in the Twin Cities area. The food is absolutely done to perfection and the service impeccable. The ambience is warm. My daughter and I had a wonderful dinner here.

I recently enjoyed dining at Fogo de Chão and was blown away by their bourbon pairing experience. The combination of their expertly crafted dishes with a selection of premium bourbons was spectacular. Each bourbon was thoughtfully chosen to complement the rich, savory flavors of the meats, enhancing every bite with a smooth and sophisticated finish. The staff's knowledge and enthusiasm for the pairings made the evening more enjoyable. If you're a bourbon lover or just looking for a unique dining experience, I highly recommend the pairing at Fogo de Chão. It’s an experience you won’t forget!

It isn’t cheap but the food and steaks are outstanding. Amy, our server was wonderful. Her assistants were there when we needed water, a knife, or a plate or two cleared. They were pleasant and added to the experience. The whole evening was delightful. But it always is, and this consistency of great food, and service is the way Murray’s stands above the rest of the steakhouses in downtown Minneapolis.

Discover The Twin Cities

Yes—a frigid Minneapolis winter evokes stews and soups and hearty, gut-warming fare, but the food scene in this formerly industrial city has gained steam in recent years, with a burgeoning community of excellent chefs, craft coffee and beer, and Nordic style to accompany the culinary traditions of the region’s immigrant community. You’ll find lefse—a traditional Norwegian flatbread made with flour, potatoes, milk, and cream, akin to a latke of a sort—creatively topped and, while meat is central (this is the midwest, after all), river fish and ingredients foraged from surrounding wooded areas lend diversity to the new Minneapolis menus. A number of new but now iconic restaurants have set the tone for how the twin cities’ keep up with the trends, though the two are more fraternal than identical these days, St. Paul taking a slightly more classic, mom and pop shop vibe.
