- DDevonGreensboro / Winston Salem / Highpoint •13 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe dined with a larger party here for a birthday. Our experience was fantastic! The food was delicious and our server did an excellent job. We really enjoyed the roasted cauliflower, hummus, spaghetti squash casserole, and poke bowl. The drinks were also delicious and unique. We will definitely be back!More infoTrue Food Kitchen - RaleighPrice: Moderate• American• Raleigh•4.5
- DdianeRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was our first visit and Perry's lived up to all the hype we've heard. The four of us opted for the smorgasbord and it did not disappoint! Everything on it was delicious. We actually couldn't eat it all. The spinach salad w/ warm bacon dressing was the best we've had in a long time! The lobster bisque was amazing. Also loved the mushroom side and the bread. But their signature pork chop was the star of the show! WOW! So much flavor and cooked to perfection. We would have made a better decision to eat in the dining room b/c there was so little room on our bar table, but we made it work. Our only dislike was our server. While her service was good, her disposition and/or attitude was lacking in every way. She never once smiled. Had an attitude the entire time no matter how hard we tried to find the positive side of her. To put it honestly, she was a drag. Did she do her job, absolutely! But a little friendliness would go a long way to make our experience more enjoyable. At those prices, I expect a lot more from our server. We still tipped her very generously, but if we dine in again and get her, our tip will be more in line with how we feel when we walk away. I once had a chef tell me that a "bad cup of coffee could ruin an excellent meal." Oh, and she had no idea what B&B (Benedictine and Brandy) is. After dinner husband order an espresso w/a B&B "up." It was delivered together in a cosmo glass. The brandy should have been served separately in a brandy snifter. Forgivable, yes. But at a fine dining restaurant the servers should have knowledge of after dinner liquors or at least the bartender should know. High expectations in line with such a high end establishment. We also let the hostess know how much we enjoyed the food, but were disappointed with the unfriendly service.More infoPerry's Steakhouse & Grille - RaleighPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Raleigh•4.5
- MMikeVIPRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •29 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy daughter requested for us to take her and her husband to Brewery Bhavana, as we have visited several times and shared our great experiences with them. We visited for dinner on Friday night and the experience lived up to our hyped-up recommendation. We all were impressed by the full experience. Service was on top of it, without being intrusive. The food was tasty and served in a timely manner. My daughter, who runs a food blog out of NYC, was extremely impressed and is looking forward to her next visit to Raleigh and Brewery Bhavana.More infoBrewery BhavanaPrice: Moderate• Brewery• Raleigh•4.8

Discover Chapel Hill
As one of the fastest-growing metro areas in the country, it's no surprise that the restaurant scene keeps heating up in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. These central North Carolina cities are collectively known as the Triangle, and, thanks in part to the number of universities and colleges in the area, there is an abundance of excellent restaurant options. Although essentially every type of international and American cuisine is available, some of the more prevalent options are eclectic Asian, Italian, steakhouse and seafood. Chapel Hill has one of the oldest restaurant and bars known for great hamburgers while an upscale Durham restaurant serves Mexican dishes with a modern touch. Classic southern fare is of course on the menu too.
