We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine and cocktail selection.
Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.
Nice place, our waitress was nice but the food was not that good it was very blend .i ordered the grill chicken it look like it was just boiled not grilled at all ... not sure if I will go back
I've been to A LOT of Latino-flavored Happy Hours all over Philadelphia ever since I moved here 15 years ago, so I can say, without a doubt: Mixto has an OUTSTANDING Happy Hour! The empanadas (all fillings) are delicious, the maduro relleno is the perfect mix of platain, meat-filling, and crema fresca. And their desserts and drinks are always a treat!
Our server was very attentive. This is one of my favorite dining places, so it may have been an off day.
Excellent menu, great food and service
Good food, many menus choices. Great drinks. Service was good.
Service was inattentive and we had to send back one entree 3 times because of being undercooked. People at adjoining tables also sent food back to kitchen.
We had a delicious dinner! Wait staff were attentive and provided great recommendations
Fun place for a double date. Pitchers of sangria were excellent.
Wonderful experience! The guacamole, Ropa Vieja and Prime Rib dish were all delicious! Great flavor!
Decided to go out last minute on a Monday night. Great service, drinks were delicious, food portions were very reasonable. I liked that everything was well seasoned, even down to the white rice. Will have to come back during happy hour, which as of now ends at 6:30pm.
Last night, my husband and i had a date night here. My favorite part of the meal were the appetizers and drinks.
The entrees lacked in flavor, but the appetizers were perfect.
The service was slow, very slow. Took ten minutes for us to receive cocktails, each time we ordered.
But overall it was a nice night.
Wonderful food. Kind, attentive service. Beautiful space. Will be returning!
2nd floor was extremely loud. Waiter seemed busy and wasn’t attentive. The drinks were weak. The food was cold and tough. Overall bad experience.
I've been to Mixto many, many times, and usually the experience is quite good. Unfortunately this time the food was surprising sub-par. The spring mix-avacado salad was filled with rotting, if not already rotted, greens, and completely swimming in a ginger-lime dressing that had no ginger. My guest ordered a chicken dish that was either overcooked or poorly-sourced -- gamey and chewy. The Peruvian stir-fry, on the other hand, was delicious as usual. Maybe an off-night.
Drinks took a really long time to come out, my frozen margarita was half frozen by the time I got it. The waiter was nice, but took him a really long time to make it to our table. Not sure if he was the only server upstairs or what.
I’ve eaten here on several occasions. Surprised my daughter who was visiting home from college. Very disappointed that it took 10 mins for out server to address us (as they were all gathered by the bar just chatting) on the second floor which was empty and only had a table of 6. The runner grabbed plates off our tables that we were still eating from, two of the apps were cold when they meat should have been warm or hot! I usual rave of your establishment and having a few family owned restaurants in Hoboken it was disappointing.
This restaurant has been an old favorite for years. We can't praise the service, the food, the cocktails and the atmosphere enough!
Haven’t been here in a while. We started with empanadas beef and chicken plus shrimp soup both the soup and chicken empanadas were excellent but not beef they use corn flour instead of wheat and doesn’t say it in menu. Churrasco with chimichurri sauce and yellow rice and beans awesome. Pernil plate was good bu but portion to small for price as well as side of yuca
Will I return probably
Great food & drinks
Perfect. As always.
Fun time with good food, drinks and service! What more could anyone ask for!
Overall beautiful visit, only complaint is that it was very cold in the restaurant
lovely brunch experience!
Our waitress Liliana was very personable and attentive....food was excellent; please try the pork belly and the scallops.... delicious! I had the La Loca...one of the best cocktails I've had in awhile. Excellent time all around!
Food and drinks are great. The hosts and their seating system is terrible. They stuck us in at a table in a crowded spot even though there were other available tables available. When we asked to be moved, the hosts gave some asinine excuse why we couldn’t move - something about reservations even though we had a reservation. It made no sense and I’m dumbfounded that the hosts could not accommodate. They were terrible which ruins what would normally be a great dining experience.
Great food and drinks. Always enjoy the ambience. Although it is a little pricey I think it is worth every penny.
Enjoyed the service, enjoyed the food! Loved everything! Keep staying awesome!!
The food was very good and flavorful and the layout and décor was lovely. However, I was very disappointed on the service. I was seated in the upper level and it was rather empty, but it took ten minutes before the server came over to greet my table and take my order after I was served water. After the busser cleared our table it took the server another five minutes before coming over after I told the busser to let the server know I wanted my check. There must be a lack of sense of urgency or communication among the staff. You can find good and great food everywhere, but you can't find great service anywhere.
A wonderful place to have a meal. Pan Latin/Caribbean fare. Food quality continues to be great.
Food was fantastic, seating upstairs was awkward (patrons seat back took up too much room into our table that her flipping of hair hit my husband on several occasions), my drink order was too acidic, replacement drink too very long to receive (no comps for that) and the waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed. Management did good asking about service and providing support.
I went with friends for a pre-show dinner. Service was good, maybe a touch slow. The cocktails were excellent. I had their jalapeno mojito (which, if you like things with a kick, was excellent), others ordered various margaritas. I think every dish we ordered, from scallops to vegetarian paella, was excellent. I would definitely go back.
Food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I will totally be coming back and recommending this restaurant.
Probably my favorite restaurant in the city.
Mixto was walking distance from our stay, figured we’d give it a shot for our date night & I’m glad we did. Food was delicious and it had an intimate feeling to it. Will definitely go back!
Food and service were excellent
Must have been an off night.
Been there a dozen times without any problem.
Had to send cold soup back, sent 3 of 4 cold entrees back, 2 came back too overdone to eat.
Manager comped 2 entries.
Great Food! The presentation of the food was beautiful. The service was fast and friendly. I’ll be back most definitely...
We were there for the Restaurant week menu, the food was amazing. Every course was delicious, well cooked and at the right temperature. Unfortunately, the service was average at best. Slow and in attentive. From leaving used dishes on the table for long periods of time to bringing the next course before the previous one was finished.
Overall, the food was pretty average. It did not seem to celebrate the Cuban cuisine that was advertised, and it lacked developed spice and flavor. The service was pretty good, but the food fell short of expectation.
