Our least seating is 9:15pm. We have a 15 minute grace period. Reservations late beyond these times cannot be guaranteed. If running late or need to cancel we kindly ask that you call us or e-mail us at montaukvail@gmail.com if outside of business hours.

Reservations are taken for inside dining rooms only. Summer time patio tables are ONLY available on a first come, first served basis. Patio diners cannot be guaranteed a table inside if inclement weather is in the area.

For parties greater than six please call us at the restaurant during business hours or send an email to montaukvail@gmail.com please note our maximum reservation size accepted is 12 guests during peak season.

My lobster tail was very mushy. It was replaced with a new one but it still was not good. The waitress tried very hard. Everyone else’s food was very good.

Probably the best restaurant in Vail- Lionshead. Amazingly fresh tasty seafood in the middle of the mountains. This is a special place. A bit pricey but worth it

Our server, Adam, was awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable! Everyone enjoyed their meal choices of east coast oysters, calamari, wedge salad, bbq salmon, scallops with risotto, sea bass and a pork chop. Highly recommend Montauk!

We discovered Montauk three years ago, and we eat here every year we visit Copper/Breck/Vail. The food is always on point, the drinks are delicious, and the service is always wonderful!! We look forward to our evening here!

This was our first time eating here while in Vail and we are so glad we finally were able to get a reservation! We had great service and the food was wonderful. We started with the grilled cheese and tomato soup appy which was delicious. We then split the King Crab Legs Entree as we usually split our entrees because we can never finish on our own. The crab legs were cooked perfect and The green beans served with it we loved as well!! We did not have dessert as we were too full!!

Montauk Seafood Grill has upped its game. Our family of 5 adults had dinner there last night, and the consensus was it was the best dinner we’ve had in Vail for years. The sourdough grilled cheese with tomato bisque was amazing. Three of our group had the ginger bbq salmon, and everyone gave it A plus. Nice music; great service. Way to go Montauk!

Food is OK. Nothing special. But the service has been the worst I have ever seen. They throw the menus at the table, I asked for some wet napkins and they brought a lemon, asked for some forks and they threw them in my plate. Food is all together in one plate. Wouldn’t recommend at all. And prices are too high for what they offer. If you are looking to eat well at Vail go to HYTHE hotel, SWISS CHALET, MATSUISHA, CHASING RABBITS, LA NONNA.

Best restaurant in Lionshead, one of 2 best in all of Vail. Don’t miss it. I am celiac and they accommodate that and my other allergies perfectly. Always love dining here. Try it and repeat!
