It was outstanding! Four of us went there to celebrate a birthday. Read the reviews and saw there were a few negatives, but mostly positive. However, everything was excellent. One of us, who is a steak afficianatto, ordered their famous Prime Rib and he said it was one of the best he has had. The crab cakes were absolutely the best. All crab meat and very little filling. Just the way it should be. Sea scallops were the excellent. They were over a bed of Resotto in a special sauce, lined with a Horse Radish sauce. Great presentation and delicious too. Finally, the Fillet was fantastic. Cooked with a slightly salted crust on the outside and medium/rare on the inside. Done the right way and melts in your mouth. Atmosphere was a delightfull 18th century style that made you feel cozy. Sound level with a full dining room was moderate, like most other high-end restaurants. Our weight staff was very attentive, familiar with content of menu item, and was there at the right moment. Management made the rounds to see if everything was OK. Don't know what the negative reviews were all about, I know it was above expectations for us and we'll be back for sure. More
