I prefer the lunch menu to the dinner offerings, and would have preferred to go with one of my favorite White Dog lunch entrees. My guests and I all chose the steak special, which, at $49, seemed steeply-priced. We shared an oyster appetizer, and the West Coast oysters were TINY. The calamari was excellent. The service was great, and I love the ambience. So, a mixed review. More

Food and service were excellent. Our waitress Nancy was very personable and did a great job. My only complaint would be that the tables are on top of each other and I felt like I was sitting with the people at the next table. More

Discover Havertown

An old community with a rich history, Havertown was founded by William Penn in 1681. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Havertown, including a large number of Italian eateries. Havertown also has a large Irish population, and you might enjoy Irish pub fare with a Guinness as well. If you want a snack, soft pretzels are a major part of local culture – Philadelphians eat 12 times more pretzels than the average American. Of course, no visit to the Philadelphia area is complete without trying a famous Philly cheesesteak – beef steak, onions and melted cheese on a fresh-baked hoagie roll.
