Vancouver Now Has Its Very-Own Georgian Restaurant!Dediko, owned by a mother-son team, serves the country’s famous stuffed breads and dumplings out of a cheery Evergreen Boulevard cafe. Dediko’s menu is stacked with the classics of that region, with a number of different khachapuri, soup-filled dumplings called khinkali, walnut-heavy vegetable dishes called phkali, and various grilled meats called mtsvadi. Also coming from the grill, Dediko’s kababi consists of a kebab-like grilled ground chicken patty with Georgian spices, folded in a roll of lavash flatbread. Nico Bakh is partial to a homey dish called lobio, a bean stew served in an imported Georgian pot, complete with a side of fermented vegetables and a Georgian cornbread called mchadi.

    Overall, my first dining experience here was good, though not great. The service was wonderful. The drinks (old fashioned) were very good. The ribeye was a little fatty and thin and the salmon was small and a bit overdone for its price as an add on. Desserts were fine. I’ll return to give it a chance to wow me.

    It was our first time there. We were very pleased with the restaurant. Beautiful decor and ambience. Great view from the patio. Excellent food and outstanding service. We had Sunday brunch and steak, French toast, and poblano burger knocked it out of the ballpark. Our server was outstanding. Will be back to check out the evening vibe. We heard it’s fun !

    Got to our reservation a little bit early, sat at the bar, it was lovely. Then the hostess forgot we has checked in and were waiting, even after asking if our table was ready twice. Very happy once we got seated. Service was wonderful, food fabulous. The noise level was awful. Could hardly hear the person across the table, and everyone's smart watches were alerting us to the issue - LOL! I guess that means everyone was having a good time. Lots of celebrating and laughter in the room.

    My high school girlfriends and I have made this our go to restaurant to celebrate Christmas for the last ten years. We love the food, service and coffee nudges. Always get our picture taken in front of the Beautiful  Christmas tree and handsome Santa Claus.

    We love Saltys! The service style is a throwback to when restaurants were special occasions any time you ate at one. Because of this the service is always on point and welcoming. The food is wonderful with local options and lots of them! I love their specials which are always different when we come. This restaurant is a classic for a reason! Also the view! Can’t be beat.
