Best restaurants near me in Rising Sun

First time to this JR location. Usually go to the Precinct or other JR location if out of town. Food and service was great as one comes to expect from a JR restaurant. Cameron provided awesome service. Enjoyed it immensely as typical at a JR restaurant

Our first visit—we will be back! Shelley was our server—took good care of us. Food was delicious, presented well, and portions allowed for sharing.

We had an excellent time at Sotto! It was our first time there, and I'll say it was louder than I was expecting considering the ambience, but I'm not complaining about it. The lighting and decor were great. Service was exceptional. The food was some of the best we've had in Cincy. We had the hazlenut bread and the tartare to start. Both were delicious, but the tartare was one of the better ones I've had. The black kale ceasar was the next course and it was great. Then my wife had the short rib pasta and I had the fried pork loin. Both were incredible. The gin cocktail off the vine was unique and a refreshing new twist on a gin cocktail. I'm a bourbon guy, but it was delicious. Then we finished it off with 2 desserts. We had the doughnuts and the chocolate budino. I couldn't decide which one was better, but the pistachio sauce for the doughnuts was another fantastic new experience for us. Highly recommend.

This was my second visit and was looking forward to it all week (I even booked through Cincinnati airport to give me the opportunity). It exceeded my expectations! I sat on the patio and had the crab cakes, fried chicken and bread pudding. Amazing food and fantastic service. This has become a favorite and i’ll be back often.

Food is excellent and the servers are exceptional. Always enjoys going for a wonderful meal!
