AMAZING! the food was delicious and the service was great. everything 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone. They also have GF options. I had the shrimp pad thai (GF) and it was again...AMAZING
great food and ambiance
After years of visiting Nectar, I see that they remain a top-notch destination for fine Asion cuisine no matter what part of the area one is coming from. Beautiful ambience, fantastic food and a high energy level keep it one of my favorite restaurants.
We were running late, because of the rain & several detours. They were kind enough to wait for us past closing time.
Our food was fabulous and so was our waiter!
We can’t thank the staff enough!
So disappointed. Was sat in the corner and I felt so trapped. Couldn’t move my seat, and table next to us was basically against ours. Definitely not a good date spot.
We went on Fathers Day Sunday and it was mobbed - wait for 45 minutes for table we had reserved!
The place was noisy but the food and service was superb.
Great dinner with our family. Food was fabulous as usual!
Phenomenal, just awesome. We both had a fantastic time.
Service was very slow. Waitstaff was not very attentive. I was surprised because this is not what I’ve experienced at Nectar in the past.
Nectar never fails us. The menu is always a challenge, with so many desirable choices; and the food is always excellent, Recently we introduced our niece and her son to the restaurant and they loved it.
Delicious! Service was excellent and the food presentation was delightful. The Vegetable fried rice was different from any fried rice I’ve had in the best way!!!
Food is incredible, staff pleasant, drinks delicious, valets awesome
For the past 16 years, this is my go to place for my birthday, anniversary and special occasions. Nectar never disappoints! Celebrated my birthday here tonight with some pretty fussy family visiting from London, and they had nothing but rave reviews for the service and food! Thank you, Chef Patrick, and all your staff for the exceptional service and attention to detail!
Best oysters in the world!! Great food and great, friendly service!
We went for my birthday celebration. The food was mediocre. The waitress recommended the lobster sliders...the buns seemed on the verge of stale and the slider itself had little flavour.
I ordered the mango roll...again not exciting!
Service was terrible for the cost. Waitress kept walking away without asking if anyone else needed anything and she was pretty miserable in General. We saw another table getting a birthday desert but we weren’t offered anything and our waitress couldn’t even say happy birthday to my wife when I told her why we were there. Food was good but really no better than Chinese take out, so definitely not worth the $. We could only get an 8:30 reservation and we were sat 15 minute late but when we went upstairs, half of the tables were empty and I didn’t see anyone leave when I got there at 8:15 so you could have offered an earlier table. You don’t look to be hurting for business but we will probably not come again.
Nectar is incredible. Their edamame dumplings are one of the most delicious things I’ve ever had. We had Adam as our server, and we had such a great experience we came back the very next night and requested him again! All of the food and drinks are top notch, we will be going back regularly!
Our server Bob was phenomenal! Made the experience and the food even better. ☺️
I asked four times if something contained MSG because I’m allergic and I was assured it did not. I knew it had it when the dish came out and sent it back. After being made feel like an idiot, the server came out and apologized that I was actually correct and it did contain it.
More serious attention needs to be taken when a customer is letting know a server they are allergic to something. And the kitchen needs to be more aware.
Nectar is my go to place . The food and atmosphere and the drinks are delicious. The dining experience is always best especially if you’re lucky enough to get Bob as your waiter . He has made service into an art form .
Food, as always was excellent! Our server, Bob, was, and always is, Excellent!!!
Always outstanding food and service. Love this place!
Great place for lunch. The food is consistently good. The service is great. Location is cool.
Perfect as always. My family of 5 doesn’t agree on much but Nectar is hands down our favorite!
We have been wanting to try Nectar for awhile and finally got it done. We will now become frequent customers of Nectar since their food is fabulous; their service is excellent, Laura our Waitress helped us make some very good selections from the menu. Her recommendations of the short ribs was spot on, the meat melted in your mouth with excellent flavors. The Wok Lobster was delicious.
The Sashimi starter will have me going back for a greater sampling of their Sashimi selection.
They have great wines by the glass and if you need help finding a wine, go no further than John Romano, John is very knowledgeable about wine in general and expert on what Nectar has to offer from their extensive wine list.
It was a wonderful dining experience and I highly recommend Nectar for any occasion!
Always a great place to eat. Great employees (friends) and never a bad meal. Thank you!!
We had an early dinner on Mother's Day and were very happy with everything. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was outstanding and all of the food was excellent. Four of us shared the Shrimp Tempura Roll and Lobster Sliders for appetizers and then shared the Wok Amish Chicken and Gulf Shrimp, Lobster Fried Rice and Moo Shu Pork. The Chocolate Bento for 2 was enough for all of us to satisfy our after dinner sweet tooth. My only negative was that I wished the dishes were larger.
The taste was good, but the sushi rice was too heavily squished for me.
The food was overpriced for the value and quality. I would not eat there again.
Food was delicious I had the seafood hotpot. My daughter tried the wild boar and Chinese sausage lo main and she loved it along with the crab sushi. Would definitely recommend!!
The bronzino was outstanding! The service was very pleasant. The noise level is high for my 80+ mother but otherwise okay for me. I always enjoy this place!
Walked in with one member of our party using a cane. Followed the hostess, who basically ran up the stairs to seat us. No one asked, “Is upstairs ok?” We did make it up, but first asked for an elevator. But there is none. Upstairs is traditionally much quieter, which is good. Food was very good but the meal was billed as “Mother’s Day Brunch”. There was not one real brunch item on the menu. This was a disappointment. Service was as excellent as expected. We have been here many times and Nectar’s food quality/service are consistently great. A more diverse, holiday menu would have been a treat!
Below mediocre food.
Very inconsistent experiences. Sometimes good sometimes not good. Soft shelled crab was chopped up and dry.
Local gem that transports you into a relaxing scene where the staff make you feel comfortable and valued. The food is beyond fantastic and expertly presented. The drink menu is extensive, yet even the simple glass of Prosecco is superb.
We had a server who forgot several of our items, one plate of food was dropped at the table and then after the meal we were welcomed by the server to the restaurant and asked if we would like still or sparkling (forgetting that he had been waiting on us for the last hour? Bizarre experience. Probably unusual for this place but it was not up to standard on this occasion.
I’ve been dining at Nectar since it opened. Sad to say, it has tumbled down hill over the years. My husband and I took a couple from out of town here on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly and drink orders were taken. So far so good. We ordered apps and entrees, which were underwhelming. The soft shell crab special was greasy, overcooked and sitting in a goopy sweet sauce. My ahi tuna app was just OK, nothing special. Our guests ordered salmon and scallops; no one made a comment about the meals, good or bad. Lobster fried rice was tasty, but came in a small bowl, too small for the price. Our guests ordered additional drinks, which took so long to be delivered, that our guest made a comment.
The restaurant was extremely loud from 7:15 to 9:00, when we left. If you have any hearing problem at all, don’t go here for dinner. It’s time for Nectar to up it’s game, change up the menu and in general, improve the service. I miss the Nectar when it was new.
Great drinks, delicious food and amazing service.
