Akasakamitsuke / Nagatacho Restaurants

Dined here on a combination 30 year anniversary and daughter’s college graduation bucket list trip. The service was exceptional (thanks Sai), the food was amazing and the sake was the perfect pairing. First time trying Kobe beef and it did not disappoint. It was nice having a private dining space. You won’t be disappointed.

First, the guy complaining about not finding the place didn’t look. Go to where the google map takes you and go around the corner. You will see a sign showing what floor everything is on. The restaurant is on the second floor. The restaurant is run by a married couple. We had the 15 skewer meal and a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious and service was great. A chef from another restaurant was there on his night off, which is always a good sign. Honestly, this place is a gem!

Great Japanese BBQ restaurant down a side alley in the Akasaka region. A little hard to find as owners have changed their banners out front to blue. Little English spoken and no English menu but Foggle translator saved the day. Food is excellent quality and reasonably priced. I would definitely go back.
