- MMarkHouston •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI chose Rustic Root for a small business dinner due to its menu and reviews and rooftop seating, which unfortunately was closed due to a private event. Despite the fact that we could not sit at our desired location what we got was just terrific - live music, amazing service from Brigette our server and great drinks. Everyone ordered something different at the table and thought their meal was exceptional. I had the fried chicken, which was probably the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. The cornbread and biscuits were shared by all and thoroughly enjoyed. This is a great place to get together with friends and listen to live music and just relax.More infoRustic Root - Gaslamp$$$$• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.2
- LLorieSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLiterally my new favorite place!! Some of the best drinks we’ve ever had and the staff made the whole experience. Blythe was the sweetest host and made us feel so welcome. Emma was so sweet and amazing behind the bar. Lauren was incredible and made us specialty drinks based on exactly what we liked and somehow turned it into pure magic. And Austin!! Truly the sweetest with the best personality and customer service. Also does magic behind the bar when he makes those drinks. He explained the drinks perfectly, made us feel so taken care of, and even became our photographer for the night. I completely understand how he got Bartender of the Year! We already tried to come back this Friday but they’re fully booked. Cannot wait to be back!!More infoYoungblood$$$$• Speakeasy• Downtown•4.9
- LLia1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had such a great experience at STK! The $49 three-course menu is an amazing deal and everything we tried was delicious. The NY strip was tender and flavorful, the maple-rubbed salmon was perfectly cooked, and the lobster mac & cheese was my favorite side. We also loved the Wagyu beef sliders, cheesesteak egg rolls, and shrimp scampi. The desserts were the perfect way to end the meal, especially the warm donuts with dipping sauces. Great atmosphere and beautiful presentation. Definitely recommend!More infoSTK - San Diego$$$$• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.3
