Yakiniku Toraji - Bowery
$$$$•Japanese•4.8(32)Toraji is a “yakiniku” style BBQ restaurant.
Since our first shop has been established in 1995 in Tokyo, Ebisu area, we came a long way.
Starting with “namuru” and “kimchi” Korean style steamed and pickeled vegetables, continuing with tongue, ribs and/or outside skirt, finishing with cold noodles or “pibimpab” Korean style mixed rice bowl. We are commited to provide you the “yakiniku” you want for the days you feel like having a “yakiniku”.
We as pros won`t do any compromise in terms of ingredients, taste or service, Toraji will continue to promote the right way the yakiniku culture, bringing taste, happiness and health to our customers.Phoenix Palace
$$$$•Chinese•4.8(207)The team behind Potluck Club opens Phoenix Palace, a sister restaurant, in the heart of Chinatown. The menu continues to celebrate Cantonese cuisine while drawing inspiration from their childhood favorites.
Sunn's
$$$$•Korean•4.7(102)Sunn’s is a cozy place for banchan and wine in Chinatown. Chef-owner Sunny Lee offers a selection of banchan alongside a rotating menu meant to be shared. Soju, makgeolli and ice cold Korean lagers can be enjoyed alongside the thoughtful wine list overseen by Parcelle.Corner Bar
$$$$•American•4.7(15)We open our reservation book up to 30 days in advance at 5AM EST, exclusively via OpenTable. Reservations are available for up to 6 guests maximum, 7 days a week. For parties of 7-16, please reach out to info@cornerbarnyc.com. Bar Room is a bright, lively environment overlooking Allen and Canal Streets featuring hand-painted details by Happy Menocal. Reminiscent of a tavern, it is ideal for a fun dinner with friends, impromptu meal at the bar, breakfast or brunch bathed in sunlight, and everything in between. The Blue Room is a romantic setting tucked within Nine Orchard that features upholstered banquettes and original works of art. This space is well suited for parties of up to six diners, and dressing up for the occasion, should you desire. This space is open Thursdays to Saturdays for dinner only. The Patio is a sidewalk café along Allen and Canal Street, with a relaxed, intimate atmosphere amid the bustle of downtown. In case of inclement weather, indoor seating is not guaranteed.
Peking Duck House
$$$$•Chinese•4.5(33)At the Peking Duck House the specialty of the house is, of course Peking duck, but you can enjoy the General Tso's chicken as well other traditional Chinese dishes or even try a rack of lamb. However, the crispy skinned duck remains a crowd favorite. Shortly after the passing of former NYC Mayor Ed Koch the Peking Duck House was mentioned in both the New York Times and the New York Daily News as one of his favorite places to eat during his weekly luncheon gatherings. In fact, when the friends of Mayor Koch decided to gather the day after his death in his memory the Peking Duck House was where they met.Scarr's Pizza
$$$$•Pizzeria•4.5(197)First opened in 2016 and located on Orchard Street, where the LES, Chinatown and Dimes Square converge, Scarr's Pizza has been called, "The best slice in New York." With a focus on all-natural and organic ingredients, owner and 2024 James Beard Nominee (Best Chef NY State) Scarr Pimentel has crafted not only the best tasting slice in the city, but the healthiest too. Skip the line, book a table and come in for a pie. There is a full bar and the dine-in menu features the crowd favorite Hotboi and Clark Kent as well as exclusive items like the Calzones.
