Food was incredible and service was great. We hit crazy traffic and were over 45 minutes late to our reservation, and the staff held our table and was extremely accomodating.
Good food but they made us wait an hour after our reservation to be seated.

The menu pricing on Open Table was about $10 cheaper per item than on actual menu.

B day and evening dinner
30 min wait even
Made a reservation for 8:30 and had to wait over an hour before we were seated. We were told they were running 10 minutes late so we waited and waited. Ridiculous.
Didn’t get to go because reservations were an hour and a half behind schedule.
Good food and good service by our waiter, but we were seated over an hour late to our reservation. The restaurant was over booked and overly crowded environment with many people waiting.
We had a reservation for 6:30, got there in time to valet park the car and were told to go back to Strega to valet park the car (Have you ever done a U-turn in Boston's crowded North End? I had to). Then the hostess told us that they were running 15 minutes behind. We were told to go to the bar next door and wait there. At 7:10 (40 minutes later) I called to inquire about our reservation and was told "It'd be 15 more minutes." At 7:50 (again, 40 minutes later) I was told, once more "it'll be 15 minutes." At 8:20 I had no choice but to confront the hostess. We were finally seated after almost a 2-hour wait. The food was ASTOUNDING. The wait staff was overwhelmed but did their best to be friendly and our food was cooked and brought to our table quickly. Sadly, the ultra long wait without a reasonable explanation and the valet parking snafu would preclude me from recommending this place, despite the out of this world food.

It was good except we had to wait for 45 mins after our reservation time to get a table and ended up sitting so close to another couple we were basically at a table for 4. My boyfriend got the Fusilli with shrimp and for $29 they didn’t even take the tails off the shrimp. Food was great otherwise, would go back

It was great, the table next to us was very loud but the server was amazing and kept apologizing, we understood it was out of their control. The hostess was slightly rude when we got there is the only complaint.
We were quickly seated at Nico. Service was great and the food was amazing. The price is reasonable for the value/quality of the meal. I would recommend to others checking out great Italian in the North End!
We started with the grilled pear salad and spinach rollatini which were brought together so the rolatini was cold after the salad was eaten. However, both were very good. The prime sirloin with red wine reduction was literally smothered under a sauce that was more akin to a bland gravy than any reduction I've ever seen. The accompanying vegetables were pedestrian. A poor end after a promising start.
