Not Your Average Joe's Kitchen & Bar offers a menu inspired by American cuisine. Its menu is stylish, contemporary and includes fresh oysters, gourmet pizzas, rice bowls and a variety of burgers. During a daily Happy Hour, diners can also enjoy both drink and appetizer specials.

Fish and chips came out cold. Overall pricing did not appear to be a good value. Entrées appeared to cost more than they were worth, especially with the sparse presentation. Doubt that we will return to this location or any other in the restaurant chain.

Good news first: Our server (Ayesha) was lovely, the staff was friendly, the cocktails were really creative and well-made, the place was clean and had a lively vibe. The bad news: The food was truly mediocre - and yet so pricey. I'll pay the price for great food, but this food was just not worth the price.

Food was delicious but pricey for bar food items. Service not so great. Had to keep asking for stuff and place was not busy. Brought home party of 3 meals and finally was asked if we needed a bag then just handed bag to us instead of placing 3 boxes in it. Mind you this was before we gave a tip. Effort needed by waitress especially when she had food runners. Recommend take out instead of sitting.

The first two things my husband ordered they were out of - would have been great to let us know that before. Our appetizer plates and first round of drinks sat empty on the table the entire time, even after we stacked them all together. The waiter came over while we were eating our apps to clarify my daughter’s order, which means that he hadn’t put it in yet. The waiter wore a mask and too-large plastic gloves. I have no problem with people wanting to protect themselves but we could barely hear him - speak up when wearing a mask. And the gloves are supposed to be tight fitting and actually seemed less hygienic than his bare hands might have been. The food was good.

This place lost it’s spark. The hostesses at the front are not welcoming. We arranged a birthday dessert to be delivered to the table that was never executed. Our table was upstairs right next to the kitchen. It was a terrible location. The food was good but there are other establishments around with good food that I’ll be checking out instead of returning here.

We have not been here for years. Overall ok. The steak tips were a bit tough, but that yummy bread at the start makes up for a multitude of sins. We also had nachos, tomato soup and the cauliflower steak. Everyone was content. Ended with delicious coffee and an ok carrot cake. I wish the cake icing was creamier. Overall something for everyone but not outstanding.

Made reservations for a quick easy Valentines dinner with my hubby. We were seated at a tiny table closely located next to couples on either side of us. Very loud restaurant so couldn’t hear my hus well. Our waiter though! He had a N94 mask on & loose plastic gloves on his hands which, after awhile I watched him closely and never saw him change. He touched our glasses, menu, silverware, food plates, then others glasses, plates, he cleared tables and handled credit cards allll with the same gloves on. So gross. Our meal- I ordered the Impossible burger- it was really terrible. I like veggie burgers but the whole meal was mostly the huge gluten free bun. Took forever to get our waiter to check on us and we left asap. We won’t be back to this location- the Glen mills location is much much nicer.

It's located in a small, outdoor mall. There aren't many places to eat. They're suffering from lack of staff, management, etc. like every other restaurant. It's not what it used to be, neither is any other restaurant.

We have dined here numerous times for lunch and have had great experiences! However, last night we were there for dinner and the experience was not a good one. The food was excellent but our service that we received was extremely poor. Our server looked and acted like he wanted to be somewhere else other than doing his job. We will return to try one more time but if the service is the same we will not return!

We recommend Not Your Average Joes for a fun, casual dinner. Big menu with plenty of options. The food was very good and served timely even though the restaurant was packed. Our waiter was excellent. Only negative was a member of our party ordered nachos and the restaurant had run out - at 630 pm on a Saturday. Still we would definitely return.

Great restaurant for just about any occasion. Date night, special occasion, everyday dining, to watch the game, etc. you name it and this place delivers. Location in suburban square is a huge plus too. Looking forward to coming back during the spring/summer.

This was a first visit to Not Your Average Joe's for my family. We sat immediately with our reservation and were given bread with THE BEST garlic olive oil dip. If you could purchase this I would have. We ordered drinks and my husband enjoyed his cocktail but my drink was dissapointing. I ordered a pomegranate fizz which was about 3 sips of drink and a glass filled with ice. If I had to guess they did not have enough pomegranate juice or oj to make the drink. I ordered something else for my next drink to actually get something to drink. We were all given waters which is nice. My meal was a impossible caprese burger. I appreciate that this vegetarian dish had more pizazz than regular burger and it was cooked perfectly. They are often overcooked at other restaurants. However my fries were cold and chewy which indicated to me that they were not fresh. My daughter said her mac and cheese was also cold. We also had to ask for salt and pepper, much easier if it's on the table already but this may have been a covid change. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and made no mistakes.

My family has dined at this NYAJ several times before. This time was no different. The food was delicious and the service was great! Justin was our server, fabulous service as we always receive at this restaurant. We will return!
