Staff was friendly and made me feel
Great food, great service, and the place is so cute !!
Hadn’t been here in a long time and remember it being amazing. This was for a birthday dinner with the girlfriend. Put in between 2 very rowdy tables but they seemed to be regulars so not much was done about them (luckily the people next to us were nice and pretty sure on a first date). Food was good but not as good as I remember. Could use a few more area heaters and another waiter so you’re not waiting a long time but overall, enjoyable and will be back.
It was the coldest night and all of the staff made sure we were comfortable. Great service. Great food.
We went into the city to support the restaurants and our Italian heritage. First time eating outside in 30 degree weather, but the owners did a wonderful job offering outside dining and made it as comfortable and warm as possible. The food was fabulous as always.
Come here 2x a year love the food and ambiance ! Best place in little Italy for authentic Italian food
Hope they re open soon
The food (shrimp scampi, chicken parm and french fries) were absolutely divine. The staff was attentive and the ambiance was beautiful.
Good classic Italian food. Great vibe and good portions. Would definitely go back!
Lovely experience
Delicious food
Very nice staff and establishment. The food was okay. It did not seem fresh, but the ambiance and the service made up for it.
Good food always enjoy visiting
The reviews we read prior to the visit lived up to the hype. Great food, service, value and ambiance. We would certainly return when we visit NYC again.
Wonderful food , great staff , comfortable atmosphere
Service was great . Food wasn’t very good not very excited.
Great food, friendly service
Deserts tiramisu and cannolis was very tasty. Table , veal parmigiana, lobster ravioli, Spaghetti marinara, and eggplant paninis. All was very good. Second time at the restaurant and each time is very pleasing
Excellent food!!
not sure why the high ratings in this place, not good at all
A good combination of service and food ... if you want a good attention and orientation of the menu ask for Alberto, he will tell you the full menu if necessary. real italian food made by Nonna
The food was mediocre. The pizza was plain. It was disappointing overall
Always enjoy going here. Nice to people watch while eating outside. Service always great and so is food.
A lovely location, fantastic food and fun staff. I would go here again!
Best cannoli in the city!
Last night in New York. Arrived on time, waited over half an hour and were still no closer to being seated. Huge queue at the door of parties who had booked and were not being seated. 3 groups in front of us walked out before we did. Loud, cramped restaurant with tables by the door of people trying to eat while surrounded by customers waiting for a table close enough so they could not pull their chairs out.
No names were taken for reservations, or times. It was made clear these reservations aren’t honoured and just a ploy to get people in the building. We left and found a much nicer Italian restaurant over the road.
Would not recommend at all. Waste of time on our last night in the city.
Made reservation on Open Table and we were 15 minutes late because of D train delays. I called and they said they would hold the table. We were a party of six with 3 big guys. They made a "save" from the outset moving us to an table (3 two-tops together) with ample room from their original seating on a 5-foot round crammed against a load-bearing column. Traditional ambience and decor, which we wanted btw. Service was attentive and timely; did not feel rushed. Fair pricing indeed for NYC. My linguine was overcooked and white clam sauce was mealy and bland. Edible, just disappointing. Was mini-family reunion, so I did not want to make a fuss. Seems everyone was very happy with their entrees (no starters) and I tried a few and they were tasty, well-prepared, so I guess that was the second "save." Gnocchi dish my cousin and wife had was really good. I would go back for the atmosphere and service and just not order pasta.
Located in Little Italy it was our first time visiting. The atmosphere is old school and we like that. When visiting for the first time it’s hard to make a decision on what to order and we may try some other dishes the next time but overall this was a nice night out. Service was good and the price was not crazy.
An outstanding experience. Everything was as described and even better. Quintessential old world Italian restaurant with a great vibe, atmosphere, and excellent meal.
Thank you the hospitality. My hubby and I really loved the place and the foods. We are definitely coming back to try more dishes.
Had a wonderful pasta meal in Little Italy. Nice family restaurant in a joyful inviting dining room. A bit cramped but I guess that adds to the atmosphere.
Fantastic service, even more fantastic food! Definitely a must stop on the Italian restaurant list!
Really nice place, good food for the price. The staff is incredible and very attentive.
Delicious, as anticipated, but very generous portions. All seafood very fresh, pasta just right. Veal Piccata sauce done well.
Delicious meal at a great price!
I took my daughters for a birthday celebration and the whole team of waiters came to sing and the surroundings were just like an Italian garden in a village in Tuscany. Very wonderful dinner.
Food was just average, nothing special. I thought since we were on Mulberry St in Little Italy the food would be great. I would not return.
Extremely busy restaurant, queues out the door until around 9pm. Booked with open table and we were seated on arrival. Pretty much every seat in the house was full, and dining space was at a premium. I can understand trying to maximise the available space, but over crowding to this extent actually damages the customer experience, which is a real shame. The food is good, and quite big portions, but as soon as you’ve finished your starter the main course arrives, hardly giving you time to breath. Overall I enjoyed my time at the restaurant, but with a little more thought about the customer & not the cheque, could move this place up a real notch or two.
Loved everything about it! It’s a cute quick stop & very romantic & good vibes! Especially if you want ita
Food and service was outstanding as always!
We came here for Valentine’s Day. The service was amazing. You can tell the staff truly is family. They made us feel like family. Food was amazing. We got the calamari, light and delicious and the rigatoni alla vodka was super fresh! Will def come again!
Great spot for Valentine’s Day!
