The food is always consistently delicious and service is prompt and pleasant.
The drinks are varied and delicious, but I was surprised they didn’t have Rumchata. The food was delicious (except the sorta bland chicharrones). Had a variety of HH food: guac, shrimp lettuce wraps, fried calamari, sliders, and my fave (not HH food), crispy brussel sprouts with ham.
Great experience, waitress was amazing. Food delicious
First time eating on the back patio. Very pleasant tropical garden atmosphere with string lights and umbrellas. More romantic than inside which was perfect for our anniversary.
The food here is good, but the service is consistently slow and fairly poor. Have to ask for things on a regular basis and apps coming out after entrees.
Date with my two daughters.
Service was a bit slow. Patio in rear of restaurant was very warm whereas the outdoor seating at the front was more in the shade and much cooler. Food was excellent. A drink was ordered from the bar was not the correct drink when served..
Many traditional latin dishes from which to choose complimented by rum cocktails. Staff very attentive and food is made fresh. Too filling to try desserts so leave room if you have a sweet tooth.
Perfect place to get together with girlfriends. Food is excellent, great service, and never rushed.
Beef tacos and Pom ginger margarita are the best. My bf didn’t like his burger very much, but said his old fashioned was strong and delicious.
Lovely evening. Everything was to our liking.
Our server Andy was great 😎 I was disappointed in the avocado toast because the bread wasn’t toasted and was soggy under the toppings. That’s not toast. The watermelon mimosa was great!
The restaurant is pretty, but the food and service were awful. One good thing was the guacamole with plantain, yucca and corn chips. The fish tacos were horrible—under seasoned and way overcooked. The ham and egg breakfast sandwich was awful too. The server rarely checked on us and never asked if we wanted our coffee/soda/iced tea refilled. We left a lot of food on our plates, but had clearly stopped eating. Neither the server nor the runner took our plates for over 30 minutes. I would not recommend dining at Paladar.
Service and food is great. It is very noisy anc wait staff are wearing masks so it tough to hear them.
We love to dine at Paladar Latin Kitchen and Rum Bar. The service is alway great and the food even better. Love the ambiance and the music selection is perfect for a group or intimate setting
Good food with a variety of dishes inspired by Mexican, Cuban and other cuisines - we tried the fish tacos and Cuban sandwiches, both were good. Red sangria was also good - though without the tang that fresh fruit in the glass would have added.
Excellent, took my mom and family here for her birthday 🥳 Great food. Our server was very nice. They brought out a cake slice for my mom with a lit candle.
Food was good and Drinks were good. Overall a very good experience.
My friend and I were both disappointed with the taste of the food and other issues. So much so, that we will probably not go back.
The area and the ambience is nice, need to put more than half ounce for the rum flights. The empanadas were not good. The happy hours it’s ok, the sliders were ok. Parking deck nearby.
The honey Cuban pork was no longer on the m.
Food and service was great. We had a great time and the kids meal was way more than we expected. I got the pork tacos which were amazing, both crispy and soft at the same time with a phenomenal flavor. Will be back and would highly recommend.
Awful. Service was terrible. Food was just as bad. We have been here before the Pandemic and things were much, much better. Will NOT return
The food at Paladar was outstanding. I invited friends who live on the other side of the District, one of whom had never visited Downtown Crown and both were blow away by the décor, the drinks, and the food. One friend ordered a spicy rum flight and asked for a drink to be made with her favorite rum from the flight, bartender's choice, and he came through in a big way. Everything we ordered came out to our specifications and satisfaction. I was surprised it wasn't more crowded for a Saturday lunch but had no complaints as that kept the noise level at a minimum. Highly recommend for brunch, lunch, or drinks.
Worst than my first experience here.. blame it on covid or whatever, but both service and food was slow. I ordered a salad and the dressing was overdone, making the salad soggy- nothing spectacular about the salad, would definitely not order again. The ceviche was less than stellar, barely any tuna in there, mostly composed of radishes. I would not go back here nor recommend it to others in the future.
Waitress was oblivious and inattentive. Mojito was trash, tasted like seltzer. Asked for scrambled eggs got over easy. Then waitress bought back a steaming pile of industrial type scrambled eggs (what you would get in a hospital cafeteria). My Mexican street corn avocado toast was tough, I had a hard time just trying to cut a piece to eat. I’ve been to Paladar for lunch and dinner before and enjoyed myself but this brunch experience was awful.
Enjoy going there for brunch. Lots of outdoor seating.
Food was ok. This was a birthday celebration. Asked receptionist privately for a piece of cake for after dinner as a surprise. The waiter began clearing the table before we were done eating. Asked us if we wanted to stay awhile or the check. We said stay but he came back every few minutes to ask if we wanted the check. Annoying. Dinner was done in well under an hour. Never got the cake. Not going back.
Service, food & drinks was excellent. As always, Marlon provided exceptional service that keeps me coming back.
We love Paladar - the food is fantastic, drinks are top notch and the atmosphere is great. What makes the place really special though is the unbelievable service. Alvaro, Bill, Hossein, Ivan, Michael, Nathan, Rosie, Johan, Hanna, Matthew and the rest of the team make Paladar our go to destination in Gaithersburg.
Paladar was awesome! Very welcoming and accommodating to our family which means a lot since we have 2 young daughters. We were seated quickly on their beautiful outdoor patio. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. And the food and drinks were delicious! We also loved how the kids meals came in cute little "TV dinner trays." We had a wonderful experience!
Good food, and not loud! I will definitely return.
Manager was phenominal
The food was top notch. Outstanding but the environment was extremely quiet and conservative, no really a DC brunch vibe as expected. Great for families and discerning palates.
Great South American food, wines and other drink. Good anytime from lunch to late night.
Great atmosphere, employees are super friendly, and food is dank!
The food was excellent! Nice portions. Service was great :)
We eat here a lot and love it. Excellent food, good outside space and great / attentive staff.
Great Brunch - I had duck confit and hubby had egg and chorizo tacos.
It was our first time out for brunch since COVID. It was a wonderful experience & our server, Matt, added to the positive experience.
