Mini Crab Cakes
Five of our Famous Crab Cakes, just a smaller version
Crab Cake Sandwich
Our 8 oz. crab cake served on a fresh brioche roll with lettuce and tomato, with a side of French fries
Colossal lump crab meat blended in our secret crabcake recipe, topped with Imperial sauce and baked until golden brown
The waiter and service was great, food was ok nothing to run back for, maybe its the crab shortage, food has no taste .
We were seated in the upstairs dining area which I didn’t really like. Also service was lacking. We had to find our waitress on several occasions because she just didn’t pay that much attention to us. My cheesecake dessert wasn’t very good as well. It was somewhat soft like it never really set well when it was made.
The food was excellent. The Colossal Crab cake and (Maryland) Crab soup were the best. Also had a 14oz prime rib steak that was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Also, the rolls they offer prior to your meal are so yummy! Our server, Walter, was also outstanding.
We were very satisfied with our experience at Pappas. The food was great. We love the crab cakes. Walter was an excellent waiter. We will be back.
Service and crab cakes were very good. Do not bother with the mac and cheese with crab appetizer. I feel they forgot the cheese!!!
Food was excellent. Hubby got the crab cake, I got shrimp and our son got a steak. Everything was cooked perfect and came out hot. Really enjoyed our meal. Our waitress was very attentive as well !!
Delicious seafood. Great service! Smoke alarms went off and we had to leave but meal was over.
Crab cakes never disappoint. As usual, our food was delicious. Our waitress was outstanding!
The crab cakes where not the same! They normally all lump crab meat that you can see when it comes to you! It was a round ball. Not as big and a lot of filler. I was told we would pay more for crab going up which I agreed so I expected the same product.
Always the best food and service which is why I keep coming back.
We live in Oklahoma and when we are in the area, a visit to Pappas is ALWAYS on our itinerary!
The food was wonderful as usual but took an unnecessary amount of time to get to us. Our server was pleasant but not often around. It will be a while till our next visit.
From the entry to exit it's an outstanding experience. The server was exceptionally attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very pleasant to all of us. It's the kind of dinning you remember for a long time .
The food was fresh and delicious. The crab cakes grilled to perfection, Chesapeake wings is definitely a taste of Maryland, sautéed green beans and onions had a bright bite, nice and tender. My first dining experience since Covid19 and will not be my last time. Let's not forget the outstanding service and the ambiance.
Quality of food and service has no diminished even during times of pandemic. Prices are very reasonable.
Always loved this place. No complaints at all. The only thing was the cost factor for crab, but that is not their fault.
The crab egg rolls appetizer and main course were excellent and our server was friendly and attentive. I could not give the food 4 stars because the desserts were very disappointing.
We were at a table not in the main part of the restaurant and lost some of the ambiance and it was near the hostess so traffic was heavy near us
The table was to small and they sat us in the door way. The food was good and the waiter was nice but he had low energy forgot water and bread had to ask three times
Excellent meal & service!
U upped your price ok, but you made the portion smaller not good!
The food was hot and delicious. The restaurant's ambience was very nice. The food choices are very reasonable too.
Server was very personal and attentive to our needs.
Food as usual was very good as the three of us had crab cakes. Favorite place to go for a crab cake. I always order the double so to have one to take home.
Server even explained the nice looking renovations that has taken place.
The food of course was delicious. My only complaint is we were seated by the fireplace and it was on! May 12 was a warm day and a fireplace was not needed. I asked if they could turn the fireplace off because it was too warm and they refused. The owner wants it on. They didn’t care if it was too warm, the owner had to be happy. Shame on you Pappas!
Something was a little different about the crab imperial this time...not as impressive as past visits...other than that all else was good as usual👍🏼👍🏼
Food was very good, sides portions we're small, still hungry when we left. Had asked for seating near fireplace, they sat us at a table where our shoulders we're against the wall, but we were reseated after asking. Were told that someone had tried calling several times that our reservations were incorrect and we had to hurry up and order or not have dinner. No one had called according to my phone or left any messages. I received one call a couple days prior to confirm the reservation, but not to reschedule or cancel. Had 1 half glass of wine, bill was $80 for two meals no dessert.
I knew there would be a set menu and I was already prepared for that, however, the meal I chose is something I eat from there often which is the stuffed shrimp which generally goes for $21.99 but was $30 and the amount of crabmeat was lacking and that really was disappointing. The service was busy and typical and the restaurant was comfortable.
We were a little disappointed at the limited menu since we not advised prior to making the reservation.
It's a great place to eat we go there for both dine in and carryout, always good food, service is good, parking on grounds is good, Mother's day was great for my wife and moms
Went for Mother’s Day but there were no spaces to park. It was very crowded. Even with reservations while some members were attempting to park the vehicle were not able to be be seated until the entire party arrived. Waitress was good but slow took too long to order and when we asked for a regular menu to order from they had a special menu made for Mother’s Day and you could not order from the regular menu.
The Mother’s Day menu was a little on the more pricey side but I understand as businesses are trying to catch up because of the Covid pandemic.
It was just ok.
Overall the food was good; our waitress was okay. I'm not sure how the tips get divided between the waitress and the servers but my opinion the servers worked a lot harder than our waitress; she only took our order and never came back except to give us the bill. I had a party of six and the tip was added in with our bill and when we asked to have three separate bills we were told that a party of six or more goes on one bill; unfortunately two of the couples were from out of town and had to leave the restaurant to find an ATM because we were told that she could only use one credit card and cash or all cash or all credit but could not use three credit cards to pay the bill. I'm not sure if we are going to be returning to your establishment in the future; just wasn't the best experience for me and my out of town guests.
Meal was wonderful. Piping hot crab cakes and French fries. Delicious!!!!! Plus 1/2 price bottle of wine!!!
One of my favorite places always great. Wonderful Crab Cakes.
We have been having a meal there for many years to celebrate my birthday and Mothers Day. They have the best oysters
Omg the 🦀 egg rolls 😍 was to die for. My 11 year old daughter said she enjoyed her self. Thank everyone who helped from start to the end. Keep up the excellent job well done.
If you are looking for consistency, look no further. These are the crab cakes you are looking for...and everything else is well prepared and tasty too.
Amazing customer service and the food was even better!
Front Door greeting was very welcoming. We had the perfect dining room seating. The food, oh boy the food, was absolutely delicious! Samantha is now our Host Extraordinaire. The Crab Cakes surpass any that I've previously had to date. DR. said her Fish topped with Crab Imperial was scrumptious, and Mr. G, said the Pork Chops were perfectly seasoned and fork tender. They both enjoyed Bartender Perfection Drinks and my Ice Tea was just the right amount of sugar sweet. I love Green Beans and they were al dante and flavorful. The Sweet Potato Fries and Split Baked Potato were made fresh and cooked to perfection as well. The Staff performed like a Grand Ole Orgastra. I had not seen such fine coordination to make the guest feel so welcome, as my 5 Star restaurant in NY. PAPPAS was well worth the 1 hour plus drive, and when we come again, we want Samantha, the center booth along the first wall and more of the same delicious everything. I simply wish more of the customers were dressed properly, it was pretty shameful how many don't take time out to groom themselves for this wonderful dining experience. PAPPAS STAFF, 5 Stars 🌟 for a fantastic evening!
Great food and service. Would recommend while in Baltimore. Amazing crab cakes.
Service was horrible. The bus boys stated, "they were backed up in the kitchen." We had to ask 2-3 times for bread, and many times for water. The waitress would disappear for extended periods of time. We will not go back.
