Stephen Starr's stylish addition to Rittenhouse Square pays tribute to French cafe culture, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, ideal for a quick bite or a leisurely meal.     Parc is a Philly institution. ALWAYS busy. The only Stephen Starr place we go to fairly often. Prices are not inexpensive but service is great and the size of portions (especially french fries) and unlimted bread basket make a decent value. A cheeseburger with fries is $24 and bottomless coffee is $5,00)

    Parc is bustling, noisy in a good way ( customer chatter, not blasting music), and delicious. The service has always been cheerful and excellent, with attention to detail - I watched a floor person carefully set up a table on a busy Sunday afternoon - silverware placed, glasses where they belong, a 'small' thing done professionally. The food, of course, is high quality and delicious. Always a pleasure to eat here!

    We so enjoy living close enough to Parc to visit often. Every interaction with our servers was delightful and the meals were superb. We are sad to see the "Streatery" on 18th Street disappear, but we understand that that is the city, not Parc's decision.

    Our annual celebration with friends at Parc. Things took longer than usual but the place was packed and we were happy to have more time catching up with our friends. Those who greeted, cooked and served made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. This is the rare place where I can get a hard cider from Normandy. The mushroom soup was amazing. Our friends loved the onion soup. There were fabulous burgers, beef burgundy, and trout amandine, all superb. Our tradition is profiteroles for dessert. Yep! Parc is our happy place!

    Great atmosphere but way too loud. We go to Parc a few times a year and it's getting louder. You have to speak really loud in order to be heard. Turning down the music would be helpful.

    We went here to kick off a day with friends who don’t see each other often. We had to add one to our reservation last minute and they were more than happy to help accommodate. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and it was a comfortable but very nice environment. It was a little loud, but not enough that I would mark it as a negative! Just, if anyone is hard of hearing, it might be difficult here.

    EDWIN was one of the best servers we have ever had at Parc. He was efficient, attentive, responsive, thoughtful, warm, and kind. Staff members assisting him were likewise extremely attentive and hard-working. Service is one of the main reasons we come to Parc, and generally it is quite good (though Edwin was a standout). However, after 20 years as customers of Parc, we seriously considered ceasing to patronize the restaurant a week ago. This is because the server RICHARD at Parc was absolutely the single most appalling server we have had anywhere. (My spouse missed the window to review that visit on 11/17/23, so I'm sharing Richard's horrendous performance here.) Richard was the execrable opposite of Edwin in every respect. The following are just 2 of his many egregious actions: When asked to bring silverware once our rapidly cooling food arrived, he said yes, then turned to the neighboring table and gratuitously VOLUNTEERED, unasked, to refill the water OF A SLEEPING DOG, then never brought silverware. During ordering, we asked Richard which foods contained a life-threatening allergen--a quite common allergen, not a rare one. He said he would "check with the chef," and then proceeded to ignore us for 20 minutes while we waited to order. Upon approaching to take our order, he made no mention of the request to the chef. When reminded, he muttered, "Oh, you still want to know about that" and disappeared for another 15 minutes. When he finally returned with the information, he made a completely unbelievable claim about having to wait for "my manager" to obtain the information for him. This last song and dance--being asked multiple times for basic promised information, then claiming unconvincingly "I'm waiting for xyz staff"-- we heard Richard repeat about various issues to the occupants of both tables on either side of us. Richard was rude, dysfunctional, indifferent, and unapologetic, and the 2 above examples are 2 of many. Richard will cost you loyal customers!!!!!!!

    I've been to this restaurant many times over the last decade and usually enjoy it. We had a nice time last night. Our server was attentive. I was with three other people. Their food looked and tasted better than mine. I ordered the warm shrimp salad. The salad part was so incredibly salty. It was inedible, and the shrimp was overcooked and cold. At $23 it was a rip off. I think in general, the prices are too high here and need to come down a bit. But our waiter was attentive and kind, so our experience was better than expected.

    We were outside in the Spruce street chalet. It was quiet and lovely. It’s fun to dine outside in the winter! The service was excellent and we really appreciated Cesar stopping by to say hi. Wonderful birthday. Thank you!

    We dined outside so that is the reason I rated the noise moderate. Inside it is WAY TOO LOUD. Many other people in the neighborhood agree with me on that subject. Regarding the food ~ the toast under the poached eggs with avocado was uncuttable. I used the bread from the basket. This problem has occurred before and I forgot to report it. Otherwise food and service were very good. One of my guests must eat gluten free food. She appreciated the options.

    This was my very first time in Philly and I was only there one night. I sat at the bar where I was served by Malcomb. The service, conversation, recommendations and drinks were amazing!! This was the only place I got to try while in town, but Malcomb and the other staff made me want to come back to Philly for a longer visit!

    I went for my favorite salad. The warm shrimp salad it’s sooooo good! It was my birthday and they gave me a complimentary dessert. The server was very friendly and attentive. This was actually my first time dining inside and I felt like I was back in Paris. Love it!

    Went there for my anniversary & they were so kind and accommodating. The restaurant was beautiful at night and the staff were quick & helpful with the menu. Our food and drinks were served so fast and everything was delicious.
