**A note from the restaurant**
Outside seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Remains the best restaurant in Philly in every respect.
Yes we always take our out of town guests to Parc. It is reliable and they still serve good bread and butter...unlike a lot of modern restaurants.
Great spot, right along Rittenhouse Square. Got the Croque Madame with a side of pomme frites and the Eggs Norwegian. Both delicious in their own rights. Service was spot on and friendly. Looking forward to going again when I'm in Philly. Cheers~!
Sat outside for brunch with our dog. Staff was very attentive, and food was very good.
Amazing food! Great service! Excellent view!
Bread is the best in the city. My dinner was excellent. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
Extremely noisy; table for 2, sat very close and could not really have any kind of conversation. Need carpet, drapery, etc. to muffle the sound.
Another great Parc meal. Food cooked to perfection, and even though the waiter was sad at my choice a meat temperature, my medium Done meat was excellent
Here for 65birthday came complete with a candle and 4 cute macaroons a surprise! Love this place
The food was wonderful, and our server was lovely and attentive. We can’t wait to return.
We ate outside on a perfect night. The bread was delicious. The scallop dish was one of the best that I have ever had, with the perfect amount of sauce & vegetables. Drinks were also great.
Always love dining at Parc! Excellent food & service in a wonderful setting!
The basket of breakfast pastries was amazing - a lovely variety and delicious. I has the mussels and frites. The broth of the mussels was so good, I might not order anything else in the future!
Awsome experience sat outside
Parc is always a great dining experience. The service was excellent. They even held our reservation for us when we ran a few minutes late. The food was superb.
Food, service and ambiance is great. I made reservations 2 weeks in advance and asked to be seated outside or by the window. We were seated in the middle of the back room, disappointing!
It was absolutely perfect. Excellent food and service. I recommend it without reservation.
This is an elegant, authentic French bistro experience. A little on the pricey side, but worth it for special occasions
Great ambiance. Feels like a bistro in Paris. Fresh oysters, amazing bread, great wine list. Fantastic trout almondine and steak frites. Must do!
We came to Parc to celebrate both my birthday and my husband’s birthday before he embarks on an 8 month deployment overseas with the Navy!! The good, drinks and atmosphere were all perfect, festive and celebratory!!
Debora was our excellent waitress!! She listened to us as to not rushing our orders. I wanted one Sancerre that was not available, she recommended some other wines that I might like. When asked if the $75 Sancerre was available, it was and she was very attentive filling our glasses as we wanted them ( when empty not topping off which puts cold wine into warmer wine), giving us her recommendation for desert which was taken and wonderful.
She made my friends visit very nice.
Very cozy place for lunch. Noise level very high. Sometimes difficult to hear others in a group or even one on one.
More choices please for vegetarians and some fish choices also.
We had burgers and brisket. Good sandwiches.
Dessert menu could also have more of a selection.
We want there with our three kids as part of a day trip to Philly. We loved it.
Made a reservation which proved very smart as the place was packed.
They start you with a bread basket with three types of bread, one baguette, and two sourdoughs- great bread.
We ordered the meat and cheese board, which was large and contained great samples.
For main, I took the mussels - a big portion and great flavor.
We also had the sea bass and beef bourguignon which the family loved.
Of course desserts are a must and they also proved to be very good (even the creme brulee which is done everywhere was very good) .
So why not five stars, two issues:
1. I ordered a small bottle of wine, it took 10 minutes for the waitress to let me know they are out. Ok, I ordered another one, another ten minutes to let me know they are out. That's not the way it should be.
2. Service was very slow.
Will I go there again? Definitely!
The food we had was very good. The bread was good, although not exceptional. Had a Parc salad, which was also good, maybe a little too much dressing on it. We've had Shanghai Calamari, which was a very good choice: slightly sweet, and spicy, in a very good combination.
The best was the steak - the filet. One of the best probably I've had.
The other aspect was the service - exceptional! Very careful whether we have looked at the drinks menu, serving the beverage in a timely fashion... Very friendly and helpful staff. Not sure how another restaurant could top this!
I eat there often. It has a reliable menu, though expensive. Noise is very loud. Generally satisfied. They do need to have less cutesy deserts, something more basic with less sugar: a decent pie, e.g., for those of us who want to live longer!
I have been to Parc many times for business lunches. We dine indoors and it is reliably a good experience. Yesterday my guest was in summer attire and the inside air was very cold (I brought a sweater knowing it is always too cold at Parc in the summer). She was uncomfortable and asked to move to an outdoor table, which the staff pleasantly and immediately arranged. I did not find the outdoor seating conducive to a business conversation. The tables are so packed together that you sit facing the park, literally shoulder-to-shoulder with your guest on one side and a stranger on the other side. Next time I will tell any guest to bring a sweater or jacket so we can be comfortable indoors.
Parc is the best restaurant in the entire city. 10/10 would recommend.
Usually great food and great ambiance, perhaps a little more on a cold winter day as compared to a hot summer day.
We love parc. Have been coming here for a while. We love breakfast and dinner.
We have never had a bad meal. From the wine to the draught beer, salads to entrees
It’s all worth the trip.
We are already planning our next trip.
Reservations are easy, the staff friendly and you actually feel like you are in France
Always wonderful! Great place to celebrate family & friends.
Excellent Staff! Excellent Food!
Parc never disappoints. From the atmosphere to the service and most of all the delicious food. Our waiter was through and honest and the managing staff assured us a wonderful celebration brunch. Parc has a way of making either a special occasion or an every day dining experience become an enjoyable memory.
Food was amazing! The bread basket is delicious-- highly recommend the French onion soup as well as the New York strip steak. Really nice environment that makes you feel like you're dining in a restaurant in Paris.
Food was great and so was the service.
Our dinning experience was fantastic. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs.
The food was exquisite and the dessert sublime.
Great place. Loved the food and service would go back for sure !
Friends birthday. In end they bring macroons cake and candle to celebrate and wish the birthday person as well. Loved it.
Dining at Parc is like having dinner at the house of an old friend. And that old friend is a great cook! The food is always wonderful, but the warmth of the servers and staff make the meal memorable. It was my daughter's 16th birthday, and the hostess went out of her way to be sure we had a table close to the street action, and stopped by often to be sure my daughter was having the night of her life! Thank you, Parc, for another great memory!
Server was a bit short with us and not as attentive as we would have liked. The meal was wonderful though we hwvw had better servers on previous visits.
My wife's favorite restaurant. Made a reservation but decided to take a table on the sidewalk. They have a separate system for assigning outside tables, so it took almost an hour to get seated. Very pleasant dinner. Service attentive and organized. Wish that they had more vegetarian options, tired of pasta primavera, but it is a Frenchish restaurant.
Terrace seat was so good. Highly recommended French Onion and Muscles Fries I definitely want to visit for next time!
