Passione Della Cucina
3,000 miles from Italy’s mainland in the heart of Long Island,
inspired by Italian heritage and infused with today's nova exciting
dishes, we bring you the heartbeat of Passione.
I’ve been going to Passione for years now and have never been disappointed with anything! Great food, service, ambiance, and management!
Had a reservation and even confirmed it on open table for Easter dinner. We got to the restaurant and it was closed. Ruined our holiday.
I made a reservation (and confirmed it) through OpenTable for lunch on April 4th, Easter Sunday several days ahead of time. When we arrived at the restaurant, they were CLOSED.
Horrible customer experience -- to accept reservations for a day you're closed and not call to cancel? Unacceptable. We had family travel in from outside of Long Island for this reservation. Multiple other families with reservations arrived at the same time we did to face the same disappointment.
The restaurant needs to learn how to use OpenTable.
Overall very good food. Seated right away. Waiter took his time coming over. To take our drink orders. Drinks were big and flavorful. Food took awhile to come. Might have been made to order. Big portions. My salmon special was excellent. The salads homemade dressing was outstanding. My Apple desert was a little tough not really worth the money.
Overall it was a very good experience and a nice night out
Excellent service, well taken care of. Love this place
Dishes are a bit pricey.
Food is very good. Have been here on multiple occasions and never a problem. I came last Saturday 3/27/21 with a friend and the service was terrible. Was never asked if we needed anything else or even offered a desert menu, which we were planning on ordering! Rushed out and rudely served. Would think twice before coming back.
Date night. Had a wonderful Salmon dish, Gustoso - with sundried tomatoes, cannellini beans and pancetta. Delicious. Salmon seared to perfection. Date had Baked Raviolis . Loved it. Ate the entire dish after talking about talking half home, generous portion sizes. They had Domino Cabernet Sav as their house red wine. One of my favorite restaurants, will always go back to this gold mine. Service was fantastic, servers are always helpful and nice.
Waiter got a little over wheelemed with tables which is these trying times I’m happy to see . He handled it perfect made sure to get our food out and apologized for not coming over more . Did not effect our experience at all and when he had time he came over or had someone else get the check excellen job
My 3rd time visiting this restaurant and must say cannot say anything bad. Love this place and plan to bring more people in to love it as well. Def a place to go and enjoy.
Food was not as good as it used to be. Staff is very friendly
Food was delicious but we waited over an hour for it. Maybe the weren’t prepared for a busy Saturday night. Waiter was very sweet and everyone was very welcoming .
Wonderful lunch indoors...love the Patio space as well.... always delicious food!! AND GREAT service too!
Great place, pizzeria, bar, less formal and more formal dining areas. Great food, broad and diverse menu that always changes. It’s a just a really wonderful place with Italian American as well as Italian foods. From different styles of pizza to great appetizers and homemade pastas. A must stop for anyone that loves good food and nice service.
I have always l liked this restaurant, but, I was disappointed when I went there a couple of weeks ago because of the lack of safety protocols being followed. Tables were more like 2 feet from each other rather than the 6 feet required and one table had 12 people which was over the maximum amount of 10 people at a table currently permitted. I also saw the owner with his mask below his nose as well as a number of customers leave their tables wearing no masks. There seemed to be no concern for following safety protocols at this restaurant. Service was also not very good, quite slow and when I asked for my left overs, I never received them. Food though was excellent.
The food are delicious , the service is the best and friendly. Oh yea, one of the manager ( or might be the owner) gave us free dessert. Thank you !
Very pleasantly surprised. Food was very good and service was wonderful. Safety precautions for Covid 19 were good. Will surely revisit again and with more people.
Great food and gluten free options.
As always, the food and service were terrific, as were the 🍹
The food, the service, the ambiance ! Super romantic, and intimate, made my night for Valentine’s Day that much more special ❤️
It was a great time! Food was excellent as usual
Delicious food, great service
I love here! I went there on Valentine’s day.
All the staffs were super friendly and food was great.
Consistently good. We always walk away feeling good.
If you are looking to dine somewhere with COVID-19 6-foot social distancing between tables or barriers between tables, this is not the place for you. Sad to say the service was not the greatest either.
service was terrible. had to wait 40 min for appetizers, and an hour for main course.
Visited Passione several years ago, and was not pleased with the service. There are so many other good Italian restaurants in the area, we believed that they needed to learn from their competition. On Saturday.. we decided to give them another try.
Waitress was very nice. Appetizer was very good. Waited quite a while for our dinner. The wrong dinner was delivered to me.. not even close to what I ordered. My husband ate and enjoyed his dinner .. very good. I opted for an appetizer so that I could get something quick to eat.. It came 1/2 hot, 1/2 cold. We got our bill.. Properly billed for drinks, app, his dinner, and my appetizer... No accommodation for our inconvenience. No complimentary cup of coffee.. no apology from Management.. As I said.. there are plenty of other very good Italian restaurants in the neighborhood.. Try them.
Out to a family dinner with our two young children. Service was terrible. Messed up my sons order he ordered a slice of pizza. We needed to wait 15 mins for one slice. Asked for cheese they took from another table where people were using it. Hello Covid. Then the table next to us were rude and cursing at us threatens to kill my husband infront of my children. Went and spoke to owner he did absolutely nothing so needless to say we left and they didn’t even give me alll the leftover food.
Birthday. Amazing place
the restaurant is very pretty. I would go there again
I made reservation for an Anniversary dinner through the website/app Opentable and it took it as it was open. ON 12/27/2020 THEY WERE CLOSED!!!! NO ONE CALLED ABOUT THE CLOSING AND OPEN TABLE ALLOWED THE RESERVATIONS TO GO THROUGH AND BOOK IT. TERRIBLE
The owner and staff rock! They are so nice and they leave you with a wonderful experience.
Service was so slow there by the time we got our food it was cold and none of the modifications such as light sauce remade. Would not go back there
The food was excellent and the service even better, our waiter was great.
Our meal was delicious and the serve was excellent.
Meet in-laws great experience best food and ambiance
Great authentic Italian food with excellent service.
Had to wait at a very crowded front desk for someone to seat us. Once he came and checked us in he pointed to a table but did not escort us. Once we sat down we had to wait for a server to bring us menus. Then we waited to order drinks which we’re good. Once we ordered our food it took a good 15 mins to come. So long that the server offered us slices of pizza while we waited. The minestrone soup I ordered came in a small bowl with a big pepper in it making the volume of the soup very little. Wouldn’t order it again. My fish was very good. The black pasta ordered by a person at my table was to creamy. The rest of the food we ordered was good. We were to full to order dessert. Except for the seating problem and the long wait for our food, we liked our experience.
Food was wonderful. Our waiter, Sergio, was friendly, helpful, accommodating & charming.
