Lovely food and staff, shame the room is so loud and the tables are too close to one another.
Another great meal and service. Georgia and Yasin are consummate hosts.
One of my favourite restaurants in Soho, as much for the atmosphere as the food. They have a tendency to add a little too much salt, but generally the food is good bistro fare. Wine list is average, though. Could do with at least one good red and white by the glass. Their best white, for instance, Picpoul, is very ordinary. Even their Pinot Noir is a little on the rough side.
We arrived half hour earlier as some previous comments stated that waiting is needed. However we have our table ready and it’s still a busy Sunday night to them as usual.
Food is still good as we visited three years ago.
Usually the idea of whoever books a table in advance is to have as few hassle as possible, mainly to be seated on time and in a proper location.
The very opposite instead happened in this case: we had to wait outside more than 10 minutes before being seated and got the worst possible table in the whole restaurant. I had my chair partially obstructing the door that gives access to the dining area downstairs, and the table next to us was just too close, making it simply too narrow for waiters to walk past and for us not to be concerned every time they had to come by.
For the rest, place is noisy, I don't really mind but be advised! Top pro, you will get a very good value for money: the food is very good and fairly priced.
This is a great little restaurant. Went with four friends on Saturday. The place was absolutely packed but service was great (only reason there isn't five stars is that we had to order the same drink a couple of times but that's probably because they were run off their feet). We all had steaks that were cooked to perfection. The desserts were pretty good - the banoffee pie was the only disappointment but tiramisu and choc mousse were decent. We will all be going back. A proper gem.
I really enjoyed our visit to Pierre Victoire. We sat downstairs (we had a choice between upstairs & downstairs, but the table downstairs was ready first). I would sit upstairs next time, it's a bit brighter and the atmosphere is a bit nicer but downstairs is fine! The food, wow, the camembert and poached pear starter is just to die forrr! I had a fair main of bavette steak but wished I had got something with a bit more involved rather than just steak & frites (my own fault). Wine, delicious. Overall cost of the dinner was so reasonable. Service was fine, nothing over the top but we weren't looking for anything more than really good food and that's exactly what we got.
A lovely little restaurant with great atmosphere. Food was excellent and the steak I ordered was one of the best I've eaten. All very reasonably priced and overall made an excellent evening out with my boyfriend for our anniversary
Disappointing. Booked upstairs table for 6. On arrival no tables, very busy. Then shown downstairs to a table too small. After much discussion and a wait we were given one upstairs. Told couldn't have the "set menu" as too late. Apparently need a 6.15 table! Embarrassed, annoyed and disappointed. We ordered minimum amount and just wanted to leave. So annoying, over years of visiting worst dining experience in London.
Have been several times to this little gem in Dean St never disappoints
Very disappointing. Slow service; cold food; sloppy cooking. Would not visit again.
Food amazing. But I was sat by the stairs and staff kept knocking me. When I mentioned this to one, the waitress was very rude. The manager was very apologetic. But it put me off.
Cosy, vibrant restaurant with great food and service.
Super place for an excellent value pre theatre dinner. It was very noisy but that was quite jolly! Particularly enjoyed the beef bourguignon. Drinks sold alongside set menu good value.
Four of us had a lovely meal, pre theatre. The staff were very friendly and food lovely. The seating is a little on the tight side but this was not a problem as the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere.
Had lovely food from the A la Carte menu and pleased to find it was just as good as other visits. We were squeezed in at the back around large Christmas party groups which was a shame, as very loud and right by the staff access point. Next time downstairs would be preferable. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant.
So pleased to have discovered this little gem- we had the set pre Christmas lunch on a very busy weds before Christmas . Food and service was excellent and it had a lovely festive feeling despite being full and fairly noisy! Will definitely return
You can't have a conversation there easily. It is too noisy, too squashed and not as good value as it claims to be. Food was all good, but it was not an pleasant or relaxing evening out.
Lovely restaurant, friendly and full of atmosphere, excellent food, efficient service, nice location close to our theatre visit
Tonight was our one year anniversary. Our first date was spent getting to know each other over a meal at Pierre Victoire. The food was great, staff were very friendly and the setting was lovely. You really can't ask for a better venue than this.
Both starters Moyles and a goat's cheese salad were delicious. My duck main was also very good. Unfortunately my husband's rib-eye steak left a lot to be desired. It was stringy and tough. When we mentioned this to staff it was obvious they were not going to do anything about it, which was a shame. It was my birthday and my husband didn't want to spoil my evening by complaining further. Pierre Victoire is out go to restaurant when visiting London's West end, and surely it wouldn't have been too much to offer him an alternative.
good food, friendly staff. It was very busy and so quite noisy (around 5pm - 7pm)
First time since the 1990's to have visited a Pierre Victoire and very pleased with deco, sevice and very good food. Shall be visiting again!
What a riot! Loved the joint. Pianist goes well with the vibrant bistro. Doesn't hurt that the food is good too. Got to go back.
Great restaurant, highly recommend going, very relaxed atmosphere, one downside, table wasn't anywhere near ready for the time we booked it.
Arrived on time for our booking and had to wait 30 mins outside in the cold before being shown to our table. The restaurant host was requesting some tables go to a local pub for a drink because their wait was going to be so long - clearly it was chronically overbooked. After being sat in the basement next to the toilet, we were served the wrong wine and not given the bread other tables received (without reminding). They setup an additional table downstairs which pretty much blocked the exit and was a fire escape hazard, the wait staff had to carry all the dishes over the top of guests heads, and also a full barrel of beer! Food was average - not as good as on my two previous visits to this restaurant. When we said we would not pay the service charge on account of the long wait to sit down, the waiter proceeded to make me feel guilty by telling me he was unable to get past guests to vacate their tables... Its the managers fault for overbooking, not the customers! Will not be returning.
As always a pleasure. Superb service and food and a really buzzy atmosphere. Friday night was busy so very loud but excellent.
Excellent food and service. Tables a bit too close together and can be a bit noisy.
Fantastic and authentic tasting menu with plenty of choices. First class though it was very busy and we had to rush at the end as heading to the theatre.
Good friendly service. Food was delicious and good value for money for West London.
Excellent restaurant. Food top quality, service and staff lovely, ambience and atmosphere just right and very good value for money. We just keep coming back it so good.
Great pre-theatre dinner exceeded our expectations. Lots of choice and all tasty. Service was quick and waiting staff all very friendly. It was a little noisy, but we didn't mind. Great location for Dominion theatre.
Love Pierre Victoire. Service and food excellent and great value. Piano a tad loud though - but otherwise absolutely great!
A delightful little find in the heart of the west end. Lovely food and ambience and staff. Will definitely go again, loved it.
Always outstanding - a terrific little place with great staff
I went to Pierre Victoire with work friends a few weeks ago and the food and service was excellent. I did not find the food as enjoyable this time round and my husband was not that impressed either. Perhaps just a bad night.
Great food and a great restaurant with a pianist. A bunch of guests started singing which added to the great atmosphere. This place is a gem.
We arrived on time. Large queue outside. Waiting 15 mins. People who were booked in before us left, we were all stood outside in the rain. No members of staff came out to talk to anyone. Shambles.
Absolutely love this restaurant, especially this time of year, so festive
Went to Pierre Victoire on a Saturday with my family for dinner for the pre-theatre menu. The service was great - very friendly, with a very cosy atmosphere and there was also live music in the background. The food was great - a nice selection of dishes to pick from and good value for money. Would definitely come here again!
