We really enjoyed our visit. The menu’s even said ‘Happy Birthday’ which was a neat greet. The food was delicious and our server was very knowledgeable. He gave us good food recommendations, and even a couple places to visit around town for sightseeing. We will be coming back in next time we come to Denver.

We came here for our son's 11th birthday, and our server Adam did everything possible to make it a wonderful and memorable experience. After our great dinner, he and the manager gave us a remarkable behind-the-scenes tour that showed off the great and hard work that the kitchen team does to prepare such magnificent food. We don't get out to celebrate that often, and we enjoyed our night so very much. Thank you to the whole team at 801 and Adam and the manager in particular!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and the staff made the night very special for us! Upon arrival, the host greeted us and provided a table with special anniversary decorations and menus. Jacob made the night even more memorable with a special anniversary song on top of his spectacular service! I highly recommend 801 Chophouse and would visit again.

Incredible food! Cooked to order, perfectly prepared, every dish was thoroughly enjoyed. Service was excellent! Server Katherine J was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful w genuine recommendations, patient w our 16 year old who had trouble making decisions, whom Katherine treated w a level of respect we had not experienced before, and excellent with the meat presentation. We were quite impressed by her. Only issue: While the food and service were excellent, we did not think they suited the incredibly high prices. We asked, what do you do to butter/potatoes/lettuce/pork chops/etc that makes it worth the prices charged? This excellence should be available to more than just the higher classes of the community.

The hostess didn’t read the birthday note on the reservation. When she realized what happened she took our menus and brought back some new ones while throwing confetti all over our table. Food and service was great otherwise although the Delmonico steak Oscar style was underwhelming.

My second time to this restaurant. The first time was great. This time, not as much. My Filet was great by my wife's prime rib was very fatty. Service was slow but the staff was friendly.

Our waiter Liam was over the top, outstanding service. He gave my dad some great drink suggestions, which my dad immensely enjoyed. He staggered our meal with multiple apps, entrees and desserts. He listened and provided details on all of the food that was extremely helpful. For ONCE, my dad did not send his meat or seafood back… more than likely due to Liam telling the kitchen. I swear, he always sends seafood back for being over cooked and his steak for being under…20 years..this is the first time ever. Capital Grill was always the go to, but Liam and the kitchen there blows them away in my opinion. 801 and Liam we’ll see you soon!!!

I have only ever eaten in the bar, but last night ate in the dining room. There are way too many tables crammed in, and the waiter had to walk around other tables to get to the other side of ours. The noise level was absurd, and we couldn’t hear each other talk, and the waiter couldn’t hear our order. I’ve usually had a good experience, but last night was off. We’ll stick to the bar area if we return.

Our waiter was excellent and the tuna tartar was phenomenal! My wife had scallops and they were great. I had the bone in dry aged New York strip and I thought it was good, but not as tender or flavorful as I expected. We had mushrooms and Brussels sprout which also were fantastic!

From the seafood platter to the dry aged steaks to the amazing wine selection to the superb service, this restaurant is amazing! Everything is cooked to perfection. The textures, flavors, and wine pairings were prepared by true artisans of their craft. We had an amazing meal which was elevated by the first class service. Jacob took great care of us! Loved his suggestion of the Ken Wright Pinot. The wedge was amazing. My friend had the 801 Chop salad and it looked delicious too. Enjoyed the crab cake and a great filet. Next time we'll pace ourselves so we can indulge in one of the souffles - grand marnier is my favorite!

Great service and ambiance. Only thing is that the kitchen missed the temperature on a Delmonico steak- asked medium, came rare, almost blue in the center. Still, the parts that weren’t too rare were excellent. I’d go back for sure.

We were able to get a last minute reservation for a large group of 6 last night. It was my first night out in a month after having surgery. I just lost my brother two weeks ago and my grandma passed away last week. I was not really up for celebrating but my friends got me out of the house. It is my birthday weekend. I have to say my heart was stolen by Jacob our server. He was attentive and knowledgeable and proud of being apart of the 808 Chophouse family. He had a secret weapon that brought me to tears. He belted out the happy birthday song in Italian from the depths of his soul. It was the most perfect night. I will never forget how special he made my experience!
