Designed to be approachable yet delicious, guests can choose from a selection of à la carte dishes, as well as an innovative tasting menu featuring some of Adam’s most renowned signature creations alongside some exclusive dishes.
We came here for a birthday lunch and weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious, the service was great and the restaurant itself is very pretty. The set lunch menu was also fabulous value for money and the maitre de was very accommodating in letting me swap the wine that is included, for a cocktail instead. We will definitely be recommending to our friends and family.
We were celebrating two birthdays. The gin cocktail to start was perfect, very classy. Everything was perfect. The food, the staff and the ambience makes this a very place to eat.
Dinner was amazing. The food has such fantastic flavours. Each dish is an absolute joy. Portions are perfect and wine pairings were superb. Definitely going back again soon.
We had a great tasting menu from Adam’s team. We first were thrilled at his cooking in E1 and it was great to eat such creative dishes from each if his locations. His food never disappoints. A lovely place to celebrate a birthday.

We were initially shown to an unsuitable small table. Really meant for two (there were three of us). The starters were amazing. We were them given another knife and fork which we thought were for the main. These were taken away unused as we didn’t realise we could have gone back for more of the starters. I loved my main but my friend thought her pork a little tasteless.
Overall very enjoyable
Wonderful location, interior design is beautiful, staff all very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our return visit.
Visited on a Sunday to try the lunch buffet - seriously high quality food all round, very generous with great variety. A la carte main also of the absolute highest standard and perfect portion size. Drinks package surprisingly good value and would recommended taking it. Service as attentive and professional as would be expected at an AH venue. All in pretty much ideal Sunday lunch
Incredible food just as is the case with his other restaurants. Lovely setting too and the service is incredible.
It is pretty expensive which seems stupid to say bearing in mind how great it is, but the wine list in particular is punchy
The staff were excellent and very attentive. Smoked salmon start was delicious but tiny portion. We both ordered the flat iron steak and couldn’t get the knife through it so sent them back. The staff were excellent in dealing with that and we opted for the fish which was good but again small. We shared a cheese platter which was plentiful for two. Wine was very good but expensive. The bar looks great and the hotel is lovely.

his is an absolutely fantastic restaurant- if you like sophisticated, polished kind of places, with grown up, interesting food. (I am a truffle addict- going truffle hunting each year, and I surely got a fix here). Before waxing lyrical let me say that it was also a deeply frustrating experience- EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW SERVICE, beyond any proportion. We arrived (for a work-dinner, not wanting to linger) at 650. By 710, with our ordered cocktails still not there (one barman, way too many demands) we went to the table, a couple of complaints notwithstanding. 715 or so cocktails showed up. We got the 5 course tasting menu noting they were late and had to wait 30 mins in between courses- painful and weren't done before 10.20pm. This wasnt us indulging. It was the restaurant being SO SLOW! Pity as the service was super professional otherwise (but, what can you do with it?) and the food on the whole memorably good. The chicken skin butter was divine (had way too much of it as we had to eat something while waiting- and thus were over-fed on bread and tasty butter). The snacks were fun and fluffy, the salmon delicate with texture variation, the "mother" interesting (even if not as much), the fish lovely with a very flavourful bisqu-y sauce, the desert light. Oh, how i wish they can fix their service to return.. but- will they? A massive let-down w timing. Perhaps if i were with my better half time would have flown but a minimum of 3.5hours for the small tasting menu is not what i bargained for. Still- great place.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Even got a birthday card and an extra pudding with a candle at the end. Can not fault it.
Disappointed. We had been to Frog which was superb and knew this was a different offering. Scallops were luke warm and tough, salted cod was also luke warm and my pork was surprisingly tough. It was as if they were just catering for hotel guests who could not be bothered to go out of the hotel - thus captured audience.
Lovely bottle of wine though recommended by the sommelier.
Will def not be getting a star any time soon and would recommend Frog by far.
Great venue and the flavours of all dishes were stunning
Followed Adam on Masterchef, booked this for my wife's 50th - got the chef's table which was cool. Staff v.attentive but not over bearing. Meal was a delight, wine was lovely. It wasn't so busy so i wonder how things would go when they are? Stayed at Hotel too which was lovely but expensive - food made the difference though. Would definitely recommend.
Fabulous service. Sommelier was very helpful in making us chose the right wine for dinner. Lobster was about 1 minute under cooked but that might be personal taste. Lovely chocolates with the coffee.
Will definitely be returning soon.

Superb Sunday buffet! Prawns, lobster, crab and then move on to your Sunday roast. The pork belly was delicious and the beef Wellington made to perfection!
Great to see Adam Handling actually in the kitchen on New Year’s Eve, a very pleasant surprise and lovely food as always. That bread is the best ever!
This was my 3rd or 4th visit to Adam Handling Chelsea, and I was more impressed than I have been on previous occasions. Every one of our courses was good, and the service was excellent. A super evening - thank-you!!
Amazing food. Chicken butter was unbelievable. Roasted scallops in bone marrow sauce were also delightful.
Superb Sunday lunch deal. Staff were lovely and food and wine superb.

Booked at 10:45. Arrived on time, was seated nicely. Friendly smiles and nice welcome

Buffet was removed 10 mins after me being seated, i thought it was being refreshed. Nope, gone. A nice waiter offered to bring me something, got the cheese (looking like its been on the display for a while, a little hard on the edges..)
Many italians amamongst staff, chatting and gathering....after all it is Christmas even for them...
At the start, waiter puts my coat on his shoulder. Weird. Cuttleries never replaced, had to used same knife for jam and salmon.
Boutique hotel with boutique service. Better head to mandarin for service and wolesley for remarkable food. Its also cheaper and better value....

A pleasant experience but too expensive for what it was. Like for like at other restaurants like Texture or one of my old favourites Fera were not as expensive but similar if not better food. I wouldn’t rush back unless I couldn’t get a table elsewhere.
A lovely location and most things were good, but the service and the some of the food dishes let the restaurant down, especially in view of the price.
We ordered two portions of Pork Belly and whoever prepared this was clearly asleep. I like my pork fat as much as anyone, but a ratio of 80% fat to 20% meet is ridiculous.
The service generally was hurried and appeared disorganised, but when we complained about the pork belly, we became an inconvenience to be pacified as quickly as possible. No empathy was shown. The Manager didn't bother to come over to offer an apology. We were offered a free bottle of wine, but we refused as we had drunk enough already. There was no adjustment to the bill.
Finally, the Chocolate Fondants were a little dry and would have benefitted from some cream or ice cream.

Previously we had been to Covent Garden Frog and the Chelsea one didn’t disappoint.

A different lunching experience. Good service, only set menus offered so you’d best have arrived here hungry as there was no à l carte offered, great wine list.
