Afternoon Tea at Rosewood London
Served in the elegant surrounds of the Mirror Room, enjoy a selection of mouth-watering finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and loose leaf tea. Followed by three show-stopping desserts inspired by some of the artist’s most famous masterpieces including Sunflowers, The Starry Night and Almond Blossoms.
Really special. The setting is AMA Zyans the food is so creative
Beautiful works of art with a good tea collection
Deliziosa atmosfera come anche i prodotti offerti. Servizio puntuale e gentile. Eccellente esperienza
My husband and I really enjoyed the 2 hours we spent in the Rosewood “mirror room” for tea Sunday afternoon. Every course was not only delicious but beautiful. We ate with our eyes AND with our mouths. Loved the deconstructed apple and the scones, all three desserts, and the tea sandwiches were delicious as well! A very special afternoon in London.
Wonderful afternoon tea inspired by Anthony Gormley's sculptures. The staff were wonderful and the setting divine. I took my mum as an early Christmas gift.
Had such an amazing experience at the Rosewood. The staff were very knowledgeable regarding the story behind each creation. Prior to our reservation I also contacted advising it was a special day for my friend and they went above and beyond with an additional dish to make her feel special. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience, hats off to the staff!
The service, the food and the tea pairings were extraordinary. Our waiter explained the whole menu and the tea choices made by their tea sommelier in a really friendly but informative way. The cakes inspired by Antony Gormley's sculptures were works of art in their own right but also tasted delicious. One of us does not eat sugar! To accommodate that at an event like afternoon tea and not leave that guest feeling like they'd missed out is a big ask but they really managed it, providing a wonderful array of savoury canapés. Not cheap but this was for an occasion and that is what it felt like, a really unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.
One of the best afternoon experience of my life. The staff was so polite and courteous. Attention was paid to every detail. The atmosphere was so quiet and relaxing. Loved the tea options. The savory sandwiches were amazing. The chef is a artist when it comes to the creation of the desserts. Absolutely amazing experience highly recommended
We had the children's artist tea. Asked for vegetarian sandwiches, none of which were child friendly - had to ask them to make cheese sandwiches! Portions were small. Waiters not forthcoming with trying different teas. Not worth price paid.
A hidden gem in the heart of London. Everyone was blown away with the venue and quality of food on offer
I really enjoyed the Antony Gormley afternoon tea with tea pairing. The choice of tea matches the flavour of the pastries and the service is really good. I would recommend this to people looking for a relaxing afternoon in London .
Friendly service, delicious dessert
Amazing experience. An extremely filling series of courses. 10/10 would do it again.
Great service, unhurried lovely experience
Great experience. Staff very friendly and helpful from start to finish.
Food and drink was outstanding.
The coronation chicken sandwich and the Banksy inspired cocktail were especially good.
Had such a lovely experience at Rosewood. Amazing menu, terrific staff, elegant surroundings. Come hungry with a date.
Great afternoon tea although found the couches quite uncomfortable to sit on for a long time. Couldn’t fault the sandwiches or cakes
Felt like more like a bar the tea room. Desserts looked better than they tasted. Scones were good. Sandwiches were yummy
Wonderful selection of tea and cakes. Very relaxed atmosphere. Although busy it was not noisy at all. Very quick service.
We went to the Rosewood on a friend's recommendation and we weren't disappointed. This was one of the best afternoon teas I've ever had. The cakes were delicious and contemporary. Not the usual sponge cakes you usually get. Will definitely be going back.
The food and decor is amazing, patisserie at its finest and very innovative presentation. I wasn't entirely convinced by the artistic links but it was a quirky touch. It is expensive but for a treat its worth it. The service could have been better for the price e.g. we were left for a lengthy time when we wanted the bill. It was my daughter's birthday and they brought a lovely cake.
Perfect afternoon tea and delicious afternoon tea selection. A wonderful pastry chef who knows the fine art of balance in flavours in sweet treats. Kids were also very happy and devoured everything. We will be back!
An indulgent high tea inspired by the Antony Gormley exhibition at the Royal Academy. Gluten free beautifully catered for.and didn’t miss out on anything. Would highly recommend.
Delicious and unique pastries.
This was one of the most innovative afternoon teas i have had. The staff were amazing and knew alot about the artist: Antony Gormleys art- the service was impeccable.
The only thing I fault ever so slightly is the tea- some of the tea lacks in flavour what they give in fragrance. This is a common mistake with teas- in addition, some of the teas, specifically the oolong tasted old and was a poorer quality tea leaf- i feel the te definitely lets this amazing experience down.
The welcome and service was fantastic. Professional, and friendly, the staff made us feel very welcome and relaxed.
The sandwiches were delicious and were probably the best I have ever tasted.
However the whole apple platter was I bit odd. The apple purée was delicious but as we worked our way along the platter we enjoyed the offering less and less.
Absolutely gorgeous! From start to finish the service was impeccable, and the sandwiches and cakes were delicious! We couldn't finish everything as there was so much, best afternoon tea I've had!
Delicious afternoon tea
However too expensive - 2 people, one with a glass of champagne, one only with tea and a bottle of water= 154 pounds!
Unbelievably beautiful and what an experience.
The pastry chef's talent in creating art-inspired confections is fantastic. The apple progression was a highlight, particularly the zing of the ripe apple. The other desserts were beautiful to look at, if not a bit on the sweet side. Sandwiches, made with four different breads, were very nice. The standout was the coronation chicken on turmeric bread. Service could have been more attentive. There was a lovely feel to the room decor, but luggage racks, coffee carts, and large round tables were wheeled through the space during our tea - quite distracting.
It was great but low cost performance meal
The afternoon tea together with the art collection would be the most attractive part for me.
A unique afternoon tea experience and a special extra cake for the birthday celebration.
The venue was lovely. The ambience great. The service however lacked in attentiveness. For example, top up on tea, rather than being offered more tea, I had to ask. We were also rushed towards the end to return the table. On a plus point, I received a birthday treat which was a nice touch.
Magnificent setting and presentation of various tea service courses. Food was delicious and beautiful to look at. Service impeccable. Somewhat expensive but worth it for special occasion and unique experience. Highly recommend.
The teas, scones and sandwiches were exceptional. The rest of the items in the afternoon tea were too sweet and the whole thing didn't feel well-balanced. We were saturated with sugar already on the 2nd course and were not able to enjoy the 3rd course at all. The overall atmosphere of the Mirror room and the staff were great.
This was great. Rosewood gets 1000 points for being dog friendly. Delicious food and excellent service. Might want to double check some of the spellings of the artist names on the menu for the Art Afternoon Tea, however.
I would definitely recommend this afternoon tea. The service, decor and ambience are unbeatable. I had the luck to try out the afternoon tea inspired by Anthony Gormley during our short stay in London. Every piece of food is exquisite. I love the scones most. The cakes are absolutely aesthetically appealing, and the only 'complain' I have is that the cakes are quite big and heavy for any stomachs. Wonderful experience for me and my friend to be remembered for life!
