    It was a good experience from the host, bartender and server and even the food runners. It’s been a very long time since we were here and the food and service are still awesome. I wish we got a birthday desert though. Cody was a great server and the chef sampler was delicious.

    The food was superb, I especially enjoyed the garlic shrimp, my companions the flatbread and patatas bravas. The sherry was excellent, and service was prompt and friendly. The bill was reasonable, considering the quality of the food, drink and service. Unfortunately by 7 the noise level was too high for my table of 3 to enjoy much conversation. The staff did try to accommodate us, and Amada has been better than many places, but still.

    Haven’t been back to Amada PHL in a while. Tonight most definitely, felt like it wasn’t the Amada it once was. Food - everything was under seasoned and lack of flavor. We ordered at least 12 items. Carne y Queso: Jamon Serrano was cut too thick. Manchego w/ Truffled Lavender Honey (why??) this was extremely polarizing and overwhelming. Piquillos (Crab Stuffed Peppers): meh… Gambas al Ajillo: shrimp was extremely fishy, lack of garlic flavor and just salt. Pulpo: probably the most acceptable out of everything we ordered. Tortilla Espanola: potato & egg ratio was not balanced. Missing onion flavor or no onion at all. Croquetas de Jamon: potato wasn’t creamy at all. 6/10 Croquetas de Trufa: I don’t get this, sliver of scallop and fake caviar. 4/10 Setas (Mushroom): 7/10. Would’ve been better with 63°C Egg (Jammy Yolk). Calamar: has potential but missing flavor, it says with sofrito but felt like it needed more. Sweet Peas: 8/10 Delicata Squash: 7/10 Padron Pepper: 7/10 Zarzuela: 6.5/10 Pernil:8/10 Paella: no soccarat on the paella missing flavor. Didn’t look like and taste like a real paella. Ambiance: Stuffy restaurants (maybe need more positive air and better HVAC, leaving the restaurant smelling like fryer oil.). Trash overflowing in bathroom! Supposedly mice droppings in the corner of where we sat by the lamp. Service: inattentive and did not feel personable, lack of connection with guests. Table manners need more training.

    We went for my sister’s birthday on Black Friday and we had a wonderful experience. The tapas were excellent with attentive service and the dinner overall was reasonably priced for the quality. I will definitely return!

    We love this restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the lamb meatballs and garlic shrimp from the traditional tapas menu. Amada also has a great wine list.

    The food to dollar value was poor. Most items intended to stuff you with things like potatoes, greens. The only “meat items” in the tasting menu were the last course (chicken) & some tiny lamb stuffed pastry like concoction. Final price was equal, if not more than, ordering off the a la carte menu, which we should have done.

    We arrived on time but had to wait 15 minutes for our table to be vacated. No problem, it is a very busy place and the tables are too close together. Our row of tables for two were at most 14 inches apart. Food was very good, the roast pork is excellent. We'll be be back.

    The evening got off to a bit of a rough start in that Amada was ill-prepared to welcome a handicapped member of our party who uses a wheelchair. After many apologies and assurances that problems with accessibility would be corrected, the 4 of us had an superb dinner with excellent service . Amada more than made up for the rough start. Kudos to the General Manager for his handling of the situation.

    We were offered from the menu either ‘a la carte’ tapas or the ‘tasting menu’. It was so difficult to choose so we ordered the tasting menu. So glad we did! It was spectacular! Looking forward to the opportunity to go back.

    Excellent service. Loved all the tapas except the octopus was a bit fishy. The potato bravado was so crisp and smoky. The croquettes were delish, as were the lentils. Two standouts: the shredded short rib on flat bread and the Brussel sprouts- which my husband loved even this he doesn’t like them. The ganache dessert was was a light sweet bite and perfect end to the meal. We’d go back in a second. Price also moderate.

    We were seated at a long table just inside the entrance. Surrounded by groups of diners enjoying the food and fun ambiance, out server was welcoming and made helpful suggestions. Our party of nine enjoyed a large selection of tapas, both red and white sangrias followed by desserts and port. We were never rushed but after over 2 1/2 hours we finally had tried everything we could in a single seating.

    First time dining at Amada for five of the seven of us. We voted for the Chef's Tasting menu and everything was great including the pacing of the meal. Everyone had a great time and the venue was great for our business dinner meeting. Our server was awesome.

    We enjoyed an evening of outstanding service from Joseph and delicious food. The atmosphere at Amata is sophisticated but not stuffy and we enjoyed every bite. The gin and tonic features with infused gin were outstanding. We can’t recommend Amata enough!

    We hadn’t been to Amada in quite some time (before COVID). We were pleasantly surprised. The food quality seemed to be better than we remembered. Our server, John, was attentive, and even after an ordering snafu, he made it right, and graciously so! The manager even came to the table to inquire about our experience and satisfaction. We’ll be back!

    We had a variety of small plates, all very good. Scallops, crab fritters, seafood, and chicken stew .... Also, shout-out to amazing hostess who went above and beyond to accommodate us after it turned out I had made my reservation for the right time but wrong date. Customer service like this will always keep Armada high on my list!

    This experience was the most wonderful and delightful, I must say. We loved every minute of our visit here from the moment we walked in the door. The BEST part of this experience were the people! Outstanding service and attention to detail. And, the food was the frosting on the cake...wow, amazing wine selections, top of the lint Tapas, and the Paella is to die for! Perfect evening, we are already planning our next visit here in a few weeks to celebrate our 28th Anniversary. Kudos to all the Staff! 5-stars all around!!

    I came to this restaurant after many people recommended it to us. The food was meh. We ordered some manchego charcuterie and the bread was stale/old. The shrimp in garlic/butter sauce was something I could have cooked better myself. The artichoke mushroom manchego pizza was good. The Spanish tortilla ratio of eggs and potatoes was way off (not authentic). The dessert was great either. We love tapas style. Save your money and go to Oloroso instead. Less famous but much better
