   Finally made our way here and it definitely exceeded our expectations! The complimentary focaccia and sauce are so so good we had to ask for more. I ordered the truffle tortelloni and my bf ordered the seafood pasta special; they were both so delicious and flavorful. The staff was very attentive and so nice. We will definitely be coming back!

    Lovely spot, obviously popular. The staff was welcoming, informative and attentive. Despite the busy activity, we never felt rushed. Each serving was excellent from the foccacia cubes with dip, excellent just right chew on the calamari appetizer to my veal scallops with broccolini side and my husband's beautiful servicing of large tortellini with mushroom filling an light cream sauce, we enjoyed every bits. This includes the leftovers for lunch the next day. Couldn't help but enjoy a lovely airy tiramisu (to share). Yes I would recommend Ambrosia to friends. The BYOB is a plus for us.

    Absolutely love this place. This was our second time here and it was outstanding again, The crispy Brussel sprouts and grilled octopus were excellent and the fish-pasta special with stone crab and mussels was outstanding! The service was good too. I highly recommend Ambrosia BYOB!

    First off: three excellent dishes. The mussels in a saffron broth, with a little heat from small slivers of pepper; the short rib with polenta and gremolata: a beautifully rich and immensely satisfying dish; the perfectly cooked Moulard duck breast with roasted beets and a delightful sour counterpoint provided by apricots. The grilled artichokes with warm ricotta made for a good bruschetta-like starter, the crudo of salmon belly is also an ok dish. A truly bad dish: the Cacio e Pepe plate: way overcooked bucatini in an insipid sauce that reminded no one of pepper or pecorino. This in a place whose owner lived in Rome for many years. Please! I also don't understand how a serious restaurant still serves dishes with "truffle oil" - a cheap and overwhelming chemical compound that is the ruin of many an otherwise good dish.

    Lovely al fresco dining experience on a weekday evening. Our group of four all raved about the food, wondering how on earth we’ve never been here before. Shared a bunch of appetizers and pastas. Highly recommend the crispy brussels and squid ink pasta. Great service. Perfect evening.

    Absolutely outstanding- from the homemade pasta to the outdoor booths. This is a gem of a place and we will be back. Attentive service and a wonderful food selection. We enjoyed the quinoa salad, crispy brussel sprouts, gnocchi and pasta of the day with kale pesto. Oh- and the homemade bread and dipping sauce is amazing to. Great value too. This one is a keeper.

    It is located in a wonderful corner spot near Fitler Square in center city Philadelphia. The staff is pleasant and the menu is wonderful. The seating is comfortable either inside or outside.

    It was a srtrange lunch we had with another couple. The door to the courtyard was left open on a cold April afternoon. The result was the restaurant was freezing. The soup of the day was gazpacho, a chilled soup. Wonder how much gazpacho they sold? The food was uniformly excellent for all four members of our party. Our trip to Ambrosia last summer was was delightful. All the restaurant has to do is close the door when its cold and it would be fine.

    I had lunch at Ambrosia twice this week! I just had to have their crispy Brussel sprouts with labneh and pomegranate seeds a second time as well as a second chance to finish lunch with their pear sorbet, a truly authentic taste. This time we sat in their glass enclosed booths, where the sun streamed in and the cold wind stayed out. It’s my 3rd time there, and I’ll be back!

    Enjoyed outdoor brunch - eggs benedict with avocado. We sat at a table next to the building, not in booth, as booths are reserved for larger groups. Weather was fine so no problem. Servers were helpful and friendly.
