Crab dip was good French toast was small chicken and biscuit was ok
Scenery was really good
Service was not good
The guy with filling our water was great

Absolutely beautiful setting, delicious food, and wonderful service. I have tried quite a few of the menu items and none disappointed.

Very good food. It is not a cheap place to eat, but it is not overly priced. It was a great experience and the view cannot be beat. Covid protocols are followed.

We had a party of 12 but the restaurant couldn't support us as a large group. So, what we did is book 3 tables of 4 and the restaurant sat our tables 6 feet apart. It was a great work around. Also, we loved the crab dip with pretzel, salmon, beef short ribs, drinks and atmosphere. It was everyone's first time there and we'll all be back for another visit real soon. Also, the parking lot was right next door.

As parents, my husband and I don’t get a night out often. So I was really looking forward to the evening. Our server was great. However, there was an issue with the salad I ordered as an appetizer with the food runner. The issue was blown out of proportion by the restaurants owner and his poor customer service and the way in which he handled the incident really put a damper on my mood and the evening. This was my second time dining at ampersea in a month. I had brought my mom a few weeks before for her birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves for lunch. However, based on the way in which the owner handled the incident last night upon our return, I highly doubt I’ll be returning. The only thing that saved the evening was our server, who was really lovely. And overall we enjoyed our food. But customer service is big for me and I did not feel like the owner handled the situation as good as it could have been handled.

Drinks are a little over priced but
Food was great had Raw Oysters and the Pan Seared Salmon.
I would definitely recommend anyone to go dine at this amazing restaurant.
Parking was great as well

Our server was fine. The appetizers and main courses were good. The cocktails did not taste as though there was alcohol in them. Dessert took a long time and the deep fried cookies tasted and felt like rubber and the bread pudding was hard as rock. I had a direct view of the bar and kitchen entrance. I witnessed a male server wearing an Under Armor cap stand at the bar and pull his mask down. He proceeded to scratch and then place his fingers inside his nose. Then he pulled his mask back up, grabbed drinks and delivered them to customers. Additionally, upon leaving, we used the restroom, which was disgusting, in disarray, and devoid of toilet paper. We notified the hostess but received no response. Extremely dissatisfied and would not go back.

Took my daughter to lunch for her birthday. The staff were very pleasant. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. On a warm day sit outside along the water.

I asked for a table by the water and they provided us with one, the food was taking a bit to come out and everyone on the staff was so apologetic and kind. The food was great. Would definitely recommend.

The food was okay it wasn’t the best thing in the world i had better the customer was about a 5 they took our orders weirdly & separately & they took forever to remove our dishes off the table & menus they were stiff I wouldn’t go again

We waited over 30 mins and had to ask for assistance! The waiter who ended up helping us was excellent but seems like no one was gonna help til we asked

Had a good time going this past week on my first date. The atmosphere was amazing. It wasn't to loud or crowded. The food and service was good. Me and my new girlfriend definitely will be returning soon.

This was a very nice place. The food was very good but the drinks were not very generous with alcohol and it was definitely more juice. The bartender was a little more generous the second go round. All in all it was very good and my friends and I will be back

Food is amazing the views of the inner harbor are also perfect, top it off with lots of heaters to keep you warm and delicious cocktails. Perfect date night spot!

Great food. Our party had oysters, crab cake, swordfish, cheesecake and fried ice cream, all were delicious except the last one fried (ice cream was good but not outstanding). Service was a little disorganized, staff lacked attention to detail: longer wait than normal for drinks and entrees (Saturday evening at 8pm), starters plates were not removed before they brought the entrees, oysters were served with three different sauces but no spoons in each sauce. However staff was friendly and helpful and a supervisor/manager stopped by in the middle of our evening to check in. There was live music that night, our party of four felt that noise level was too loud, may be good for a bar ambience but not so good for an upscale restaurant, and the singer was not very good. Outdoor seating was very nice with views over water. Overall a nice evening and culinary experience but avoir Saturday evenings if you want a quieter experience.

Overall really good experience! I went for my birthday and had a reservation at 6:15 and they didn’t seat us till closer to 7 but other than that the food was very good (drinks pretty pricey) but would definitely go again, the view from inside and outside were both great
