   I was happy to be able to get a table closer to the water but I was also forgotten about. Initially when I put my food order in it was never put in until I noticed how long it was taking and asked another waiter about it. I had to ask for water. The Charcuterie board is delicious the wings are okay. Mine were over cooked and no where near hot & honey just all honey. I would only go back because I do not know too many restaurants show serve charcuterie boards (and i actually like everything on it).

   Service was very slow. Food took forever to come out. Seafood tamales were delicious and so were the scallops. We had to ask for water refills. Manager was super nice. I would still come back but probably avoid a Saturday night.

   My 1st time there wasn’t that best experience. I’m assuming because it was Mother's Day. I didn’t have a wait time because I made reservations. Service was extremely slow, I as two different waiters . 1st waiter never returned that’s how we got a second waiter. It took forever to order our food . 2 small dogs were running around the restaurant. The hostess returned the dogs to the owner. The owner of the dogs decided to talk at bar with an employee and the dogs continued to jump on everyone that walked by . The servers had to try and step around or over the dogs to get by. I was very disappointed as a 1st timer.

   Delays in getting our food meant that we had to leave for a show before eating. Basically, it took too long so we ran out of time. Still working to get a refund, as we were charged for our food because it was hurriedly handed to us in takeout containers as we walked out the door, even though we said we could not take it with us because external food is not allowed at the Hippodrome. I hope our Uber driver enjoyed it.

   My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I went to Ampersea for an early Mother’s Day lunch. Not only was our food delicious, the waitstaff was beyond compare. We could not have had better service! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They truly made our day extra special!

   I loved every moment of the dinner at Ampersea Restaurant, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The hostess Mia took care of me and my group of friends. We were seated outdoor which was perfect for the weather. Ambiance and service was beyond expected. I will definitely go back there again.

    Kyle, the owner, is extremely friendly and service oriented. Such good leadership makes great staff. Every person I encounter whenever I go to Ampersea is wonderful.

    Unfortunately everything that evening went wrong and this was the second time I have experienced a lot of issues here. The wait staff was fine with ignoring you. We did get help from the manager who was kind but otherwise you are on your own. The food not only had hair in it again making it uneatable but the things that didn’t were so salted it was unbearable. The water views outside are the only redeemable thing here so if you are just grabbing drinks with a friend this is fine but otherwise find another place in fells to eat.

    Went to Ampersea for afternoon brunch with some friends from out of town. Outdoor dining was all filled up but we managed to get a table by the window. Food was great, service was pretty good too. It’s a nice place to go for a waterfront experience

    Ampersea was absolutely outstanding. Joey the manager was wonderful and so sweet. He made sure we enjoyed everything from the food and ambiance and then took time to take amazing photos to preserve our memories in Maryland. Rita was so fabulous. She took care of us the entire night and has such a beautiful heart and soul. It’s not every day you make friends at dinner but this place was perfect all the way around. It is right on the water, amazing views and the food was soooo delicious. Thank you to the entire staff for being so friendly and welcoming!!!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend to everyone.

    This is a beautiful place to see , the staff were great as well My husband and I had the oyster Rockefeller it was the worst I’d ever had would not recommend the braised short rib wasn’t too bad I was expecting the items to be more flavorful , I’m not interested in going back

    Hubby and I came here with my sister and her hubby to celebrate our anniversary..Joey the manager and our lovely waitess Rachel were amazing..such a royal treatment from the two..very knowledgeable and the bartender made us oyster shooters which were the best ever..food were so good n u got to try the Brussel sprouts! can't wait to come back..thank u so much!!it was a beautiful experience!

    Fabulous crab cake with a zesty and fresh corn relish salad. Ampersea is the most approachable and friendly on-the-water dining experience in Baltimore. The service was particularly attentive and helpful.

    What an amazing place! Celebrating my birthday today was suppose to be just dinner, but turned out to be one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. The food and drinks were delicious, but the atmosphere and the staff (especially Joey, Ariti & Deondre) were THE BEST! I can’t imagine having gone anywhere else to celebrate my special day! My family and I were blessed to have met them all, including Kyle and Lamont, who took time to sit and speak with us and share their journey together with us. We felt so at home and will definitely be making this a regular venue for days when we just want to eat out of the house, as well as, special occasions.

    Greeted at our table right away and specials were shared with us. We already had drinks from the bar so we went straight to food. We asked for recommendations for shared apps and elected to go with the evening special of grilled octopus and also brussels sprouts. Both were delicious! For our dinner entrees, we all elected to go with fresh fish; two swordfish and two sea bass! Mouthwatering and perfectly prepared. Fish was served with fresh green beans and roasted potatoes. For 4, with wine and no dessert, our total bill was $350 (18% gratuity included in check). Great food, great service, awesome vibe. Will definitely be back! Next time, will opt for a warmer evening to enjoy the outside seating and view of the water!

    I was excited to try out this spot, but I have to say I was a bit let down. The food was just “ok.” The service was good, the manager was nice but a bit over the top. I felt like the beverage menu was quite overpriced. Overall, it was just an average experience - not bad, but not great either. I wanted to love it, but it simply fell short.

    The hospitality was wonderful! Joey, the manager, truly made us feel special. We were celebrating my graduate school graduation, and he kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. The crab dip is the best in town too. We will be back when in Baltimore!
