Very good atmosphere, the food is delicious. I suggested it to all my friends
It would be nicer it the heater was stronger. The host or waiter didn’t let us know there were blanket available.
Went on valentines day, did not say anything about a fixed menu on opentable so when we got there we didnt expect it. It was alot of lobster and i dont even eat fish but we had no other plan so we still went for it ... they did not even try to make any changes yet i saw some off menu dishes while walking to the restroom. We spent a ton of money on food that was not really even good and the indoor dining room was FREEEZING, the woman next to me was wearing her fur coat all wrapped around her neck. If you go, definitely dont go for any special occasion and dress warm.
When we first arrived we were out in a room with zero to none social distance. Requested a more intimate setting, was told by the hosted she could give us a private bubble but we would have to be done by 8pm since it already reserved. Wouldn’t have been a problem if it weren’t already 7:24pm! After a little push back she was able to give us (which I thought I reserved when I made the reservation 25 days prior). The menu we selected was the prefix menu for Valentine’s Day bad choice out food was either cold or not what was expected paying the price we paid.
Very attentive staff. The gnocchi is incredibly delicious!
We enjoyed the Valentine's Day pre fixe so I can't speak for the regular menu but the food was excellent in presentation, quality, and portion. Our service was friendly, timely, and attentive. I will certainly return but pro tip: if you want to enjoy the private greenhouse-style huts you'll need to reserve two weeks in advance.
The experience wasn’t what I was expecting they took a very long time to take our order and Quality and portion of the food was not all great for the asking price of $120
Great ambiance, delicious food, excellent service and cool indoor as well as outdoor space! Highly recommend for a date night or special occasion.
Went for V Day. Rooftop was cold, heaters not working. No private seating bcus the tent heaters were not working. Sat in a tent with 10+ ppl. Not romantic at all. Hostess took long to seat us so we stood in the cold for a min. Couldn’t tell who was who with staff bundled up. We had different ppl coming but never a waiter to go over menu. We ordered 1 drink, no one came back to take the other drink order so we left. Food looked like it was tasty, idk. Total disappointment, no ambiance. One heart shaped light in th tent on one table out of six. Tents had air seeping in with heaters that only blew warm air. Not much space. No one warned us of these issues.
Love the private heated cabins! The drinks are good!
I love the rooftop and the service is really great usually and the food is great it just happened to be a very cold night and I know outdoor dining is new but there was a bit too much service for how cold it was, having to have the door open for 30 seconds or a minute to pour water or to ask if youre OK was too much, as soon as the room started to get warm the door would Open and our plates were full but the staff kept asking if we were done, We felt a little bit rushed the entire night. It’s not a nice feeling when you have a fork in your hand, your mouth is full and someone askkd you if you’re finished. I was dining with my father who just kept saying close the door. Also at that price point the waiter should know where the food goes they’re only two of us we both drank the same drink all night and the waiter couldn’t figure out which drink went to which person. The waiter should know who ordered the fish and who ordered the pasta at that price point. Maybe on super cold windy days the waiters can just give you a thumbs up to the door and you can wave at them if you need them to open the door for you also we were locked in and couldn’t leave after paying the bill and that time no one was around to open the door for just under a minute.
Tartufo gnocchi was amazing
Good food just had a waitress that was not very attentive
Horrible experience. Awful service. Extremely disappointed. Food was freezing before it even got to our table. 0/5
This place was fantastic. It is sooo cute. I was warm, the food and wine were delicious! Pricey but worth it.
I highly recommend the AMPIA ROOFTOP for anyone who wants to dine during the pandemic. They have private heated bubbles on the rooftop and it was safe, secure, the food and service were wonderful, and I cannot wait to go back even in this cold!
An extra cheers to Mgr. Andrea for being so courteous and responsive to our needs in this new world of bubble dining.
We had to wait an extra 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated.
A bit cold, but reasonably so. Great food, cute outdoor spot!
Terrible customer service. I came in 10 minutes earlier than my reservation and was not seated until over an hour after my reservation. People that came in after us were seated because they have a “special reservation”. When we asked the hostess how can we make a “special reservation” in the future we were told “I prefer over the phone reservations” after the obvious hesitation. The only reason I even stayed was because everything else would be closed by the time I got there. The servers were very nice and the food was good but I will never due to how we were treated. Don’t participate in Opentable reservations if your patrons will not be treated the same.
The atmosphere is very energetic and the view is lovely. Feels like a little hidden gem in the midst of the financial area. Everything we ate was EXCEPTIONAL! the food was so delicious. Definitely recommend for any type of dining.
We had a reservation at 9. We got there at 8:45 and there was a huge line, all of their reservations were behind so they told us it would be a half an hour wait and they would call us, so we went walking around in the cold. They finally sat us at 9:50 and promptly told us that we had to order immediately because they close at 10pm (10 minutes later). I asked if we would even have time to eat then and they said they couldn’t guarantee that because the new laws required them to close at 10pm. Ok, so what’s the point of us being here? We got up to leave and the manager came over asking if there was anything he could do, and I asked how we were supposed to order, have food cooked, eat and pay in 10 minutes and why they would even bother making reservations if they didn’t keep them, and why bother seating a party if there wasn’t even time to order anything. He said he would personally sit with us to make sure we had time to eat a meal. Great- so now we’re rushed and have a babysitter as a restaurant closes and empties out. That’s exactly what I was hoping for my boyfriends birthday. So I had to have everyone to my apartment and order Thai delivery last minute to feed everyone. I wasn’t expecting to host. Thanks for nothing.
Also, the seating area was garbage plywood and not at all as advertised and the pictures show on Instagram. Exposed wires, shoddy construction, not socially distanced properly and very cold.
Outdoor dining experience was cold
I understand businesses are trying to survive right now-but much of the outside structure was not covid-appropriate. Fully enclosed outdoor dining is just the same as putting customers indoors. This was not safe.
Separately, they have personal tents for 2 people which would be safe-but they were not properly disinfected. I watched the waiter wipe down a table-no disinfecting of sides, walls, etc.
The bar for safety is high right now. The service and establishment is great otherwise but they need to really follow protocol.
Little to no heater
I asked for blankets, which I never got (
My main course came out before my appetizers
Overall service was not that good
Best New Year’s Eve dinner ✨
Ended up having to sit on the roof top without any heaters. Blankets were provided but it really harmed the experience of the restaurant. Food was delicious but cold within minutes of being at the table. Overall, good experience and nice servers- just chilly!
Nice setup with greenhouses but very mediocre food. Like eating in Times Square. Would stay away from pasta and go for just the pizza.
Great location and service. Food was good and friendly/attentive staff!
I had a GREAT Christmas eve dinner with my friends on such a cozy and well decorated rooftop! The food was delicious! The focaccia with truffle and cheese was insanely yummy and the fried artichokes were unforgettable. And the Italian Gavi wine was superb. The place made me feel secure and even if it was a cold and windy evening I enjoyed my time in a warm mood, with a professional staff of waiters. I can’t wait to go back!!!
The food was so great. Only the cover they built for winter. The tables are too close each other they should have separate place for a group of people not only for two.
Outstanding service, fun rooftop and good pasta. Look forward to returning.
Food was lacking ode for the price and elevator made me think of a hardware store. Gotta get that sorted chiefs.
The little rooms were so cute and the food and wine was great.
Cute and romantic. Ambience was perfect for the rooftop ❤️🎅🏼
Not the best service, good food, very cold no heater
Good experience, good experience , good vibes , the blond bartender was very professional
Amazing cocktails , I will comeback soon.
Always delicious fresh Gnocchi. I enjoy the 3 different style. Great music and decor.
It was amazing my fiancé an d I had a great time there, I can’t wait to go back to the rooftop, great views, the food is just beyond belief! Thank you so much guys
It was Amazing! Great food and ambiance
Extremely slow service. Especially poor bar service. For a group of 3, we ordered 3 cocktails and we were served only 2 of them 30 mins after placing the order and the third one was served after another wait of 15 mins.. and that too just half a glass. Pathetic service for food and drinks especially since it was not even busy that night. Ambience is amazing and the place has so much potential to do better if they work better on getting their bartender to focus.
