Friendly and attentive service. New concept for eating which was fun. Food was excellent.
Food was excellent and very innovative. Very much liked the vegan and vegetarian options which were very tasty and creative. We ordered the avocado and falafel as appetizers and had the eggplant and rabbit as entrees. All dishes looked fantastic and tasted even better. We also ordered some very fancy cocktails with some help from our server. Service was excellent and they acknowledged our anniversary. The restaurant looks beautiful and we definitely come back when visiting Philly again.
The watermelon salad and freebie dips were delicious. The paneer lacked flavor. Beautiful atmosphere.
Amazing one of a kind drink menu
Food: Octopus, paneer scamorza, & flapjack we’re just okay. Overall lacking zest. Cuisine is a spin on Indian food, like Indian fusion. Love Indian food, generally bursting with flavor. Which this food lacked. Falafel was good. Top BBQ was meh. Drinks: interesting cocktails. Ayur dahtu and masala rye were good. Wine list was laughable. Service: slow and it wasn’t even busy. Random Wed night. Food runners were confused regularly on which table to bring the food. Ambiance: cool! Speakeasy meets Taj Mahal. Cost: little on the high side for what you get. Overall: food has potential, just not at the caliber of competing restaurants in the area. No excuse for slow service when restaurant is no where near full capacity. Bar area is nice. I’d still grab drinks there.
Birthday celebration. Was delightful!!!
Probably the best falafel I've ever had and thank goodness because it took over 20 minutes to meet our server and order a drink despite having a reservation, but maybe it's adjustments from COVID. The drinks were delicious so again, they made up for the wait. Staff looked like they were chickens with their heads cut off often staring at tables in the corner, and the hostess wasn't very friendly. The district manager was nice and comped our second order of drinks after the server forgot them another 20mins after finishing our first drinks. Portions on entrees are kind of small and salmon was cooked rare rather than medium rare, but the dessert was delicious. Lovely decor. Overall, I'd go back because of the appetizers, drinks, and dessert with the hope things are running smoothly.
Some of the best food and drinks I’ve ever had. Everything was crafted beautifully. We ordered the duck burekas and naan, and our table had the lamb, rabbit, salmon, and duck dinners. Everyone was so impressed. Would recommend to everybody! Will definitely be going again when we visit the area in the future.
Very slow service. It was not particularly crowded and our server continually apologized for the bar being backed up. At one point, our appetizers went to the wrong table. Food was decent but not really worth the price.
What a lovely surprise! I’ve walked by this place a few times and decided to try it last minute. The atmosphere was calm with a beautiful decor, cocktails very tasty! I got the octopus app and my husband got the kebabs—both excellent!! Then I had the lamb chops, husband had the lobster, again both delicious! We will definitely be back!
Beyond amazing and well managed for being so new!
So excited about this new restaurant! Service was impeccable and the food and drinks are excellent. The vibe and decor is fun, perfect for a date night, or would be great for a get together/event. The Panchakarma cocktail was SO good. We ordered Paneer Scamorza, the Frisée Salad, and the Timbale. Everything was served beautifully and SO delicious, with fresh and bright flavors. Can’t wait to come back!!!
I can’t say enough great things about this new gem of a restaurant that recently opened in my wonderful neighborhood of Rittenhouse.
First of all, it is beautifully decorated and so visually stunning. The ambience is soothing and stimulating simultaneously. The owners clearly spent time planning this.
Secondly, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. My guest and I had questions about the menu snd drinks and our server was very helpful.
Thirdly and probably most importantly the food was incredible! Absolutely everything we had was so well prepared and beautifully executed. Our plates arrived to gasps from each of us because they were visually appealing, and of course so delicious.
The combination of herbs, spices and textures complimented the unique pairing of ingredients. We couldn’t stop oohing and aahing over each course.
We were so abundant in our praise and it is well deserved.
There are also two additional floors with bars, and plans are to eventually open a garden for dining in the next few years.
This place is my new fav restaurant and that is saying something, considering how many great places are available in our area.
Oh....I didn’t mention that this is the only holistic restaurant in Philadelphia and probably the country. You can take a very short quiz to see your body type based on Ayurvedic healing. The thought is that you would choose foods based on that. Not necessary but also interesting and it added to the exotic ambiance.
I will definitely return and I am telling everyone to come dine here.
