Our food took a long time. They offered us free dessert due to the delay. The food was delicious.

We were a party of 9 who booked the reservation 2 weeks earlier. Arthur's Terrace was not busy upon our arrival. Maybe 10% occupied. Our table was not ready. Our food, which were simple breakfast items, came out very late and in stages. One crab cake meal never came out at all, until everyone was finished and we were leaving 1 1/2 half hours later. This was the WORST dining experience we had in 40+ years!
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your recent dining experience here, Lyndsay. Your wait time and not receiving one meal are unacceptable, and we sincerely apologize. I can assure you that these issues have been addressed with the entire team. We hope that you will consider returning to have a 5-star experience. Sincerely, Chuck Cobb, Director of Food & Beverage
A very nice restaurant and bar! Top self spirits and descent menu! Our meal was wonderful!
ScottN, thank you for the 5-star rating. We're glad that you had a wonderful meal here, and we hope that you will return soon. - Arthur's Terrace Team
Went on Easter Sunday. Could only get a 4pm reservation. They were out of both soups and didn’t have the ingredients to fulfill all of the orders (husband ordered beef with mushroom sauce and there was no more sauce) I ordered lamb with mint aioli and received lukewarm lamb with mint jelly. Salad and salad dressing seemed like it was sitting out all day—- limp lettuce and warm blue cheese dressing. Our waiter was good, but there wasn’t much he could do to salvage that meal.
Made reservations at Arthur's Terrace Restaurant for Easter Sunday. All of the staff were welcoming and attentive. The menu was limited although there was a nice selection, except for vegetarian entrees. However, upon request the waitress provided options which worked out well. The food was very good and there were generous portions. No one in my party left room for dessert. The restaurant was clean and all staff were following safety precautions. Would definitely return on my next trip to Lancaster.
No other way to put it, this place was just so bad. The food was on the bleeding edge of unacceptable, and the restaurant was outdated dusty and smelly.
I really hate giving bad reviews, especially when we had a very nice and attentive waiter. But despite management maybe wanting to try for some semblance of quality, it was just awful. I only ever give bad reviews when it’s so bad that I feel an obligation to warn people. This is one of those instances.
Although the service was good, the food quality was very disappointing for a restaurant that wants to provide a 5-star dining experience. Most of the items we ordered for our brunch tasted like they were prepared the night before and then heated up in a microwave before serving. The homefries were nearly burnt and chewy, the pancakes had a thin crust on top and were also chewy, and the sausage had an unusual flavor to it. Only the eggs and bacon seemed to be fresh. Additionally, we asked our server about gluten free options and after checking with the Chef he told us the only option was a pizza. We were a bit surprised that gluten free bread was not an option and the omelets were not gluten free. I've read several responses from the restaurant stating they would review the complaints with the team, but it doesn't appear to be doing any good. Unfortunately, we won't return to Arthur's and won't recommend it to our friends and family.
We visited during brunch hours on Sunday and they were out of several items. Server was friendly but service was very slow.. took almost an hour to get our food. They did comp dessert for the anniversary couple

The dinner wasn’t enough for the money. At breakfast (9am), food was already running out. The kitchen was backed up.

The food tasted like it was reheated about 4 times and served to us. Took about 30 minutes just to get our drinks. I asked the waiter for a part of my meal that was not given to me. Stated that he would go and get it. I never received it. Also, on the menu it stated we would be getting hash browns. We received our food and got French fries. Will never come here again.

Multiple 86'ed items in the kitchen, inattentive waitstaff, and slow service.

My daughter and I had a reservation at 7:15. We arrived at 7:10 and were told we needed to come back at 7:15. During these times of Covid, I can understand the need to seat customers at specific times so we left and came back 5 minutes later. We were then seated but had to wait 5-10 minutes for menus. I ordered an Impossible Burger, which was way overcooked and did not have much taste to it. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese, which was dry and not very cheesy at all. And then we ordered chocolate cake for dessert, which was also very dry. Overall, the food can only be described as average and, with tip, ended up costing close to $50.
Paulie, we appreciate your feedback about your recent meal here. We apologize for the issue you encountered; they have been addressed with the entire team so that they do not reoccur in the future. We hope that you will join us again for another meal. – Chuck Cobb, Director of Food & Beverage
Valentines dinner was terrible. Staff was very unorganized with a line of folks trying to check in for there reservation. Waiter was polite, but very slow. Food was not good at all and very over priced!

We made reservations at 7pm and showed up a few minutes before 7pm. We were not seated until 7:30pm. When we pulled up to hotel entrance we could tell the hotel was busy by the parking lot. Seeing that and knowing it was Valentine’s weekend we were glad we made reservations. But that didn’t matter in the end.
We were served water at 7:45pm
At 7:50pm a nice young guy asked if everything was okay and my husband said it would be if we could place our food order. He said he would send someone right over. No one ever came to our table.
At 8pm we made the decision to leave since we had a prior commitment to be somewhere at 9pm and we needed to eat dinner before we arrived there. Several employees saw us getting up to put our coats on, with our menus clearly still on table, but no one asked if there was a problem or offered an apology. There were two other families that left after sitting for an extended time of not being waited on. Very disappointed to make the effort of making reservations and it didn’t matter.
Ben, thank you for your candid feedback about your experience. We are disheartened to learn that you had to leave before enjoying a meal here, and I can assure you that I have addressed the issues you encountered so that they do not occur in the future. We hope that you will return to have a 5-star experience. – Chuck Cobb, Director of Food & Beverage
Service was friendly but slow and it wasn’t busy. Food was great but somewhat cold by the time it reached us. Overheard the waiter telling another table there was no manager and it was poor management there. It’s never comforting to hear an employee undermine their employer.

Had Thanksgiving dinner 2020. Four of us were seated at a table that could accommodate six so we had plenty of elbow room. The nearest other diners in the restaurant were seated at least 6 feet away. Our waiter Timothy was friendly and efficient. Overall we had a pleasant and comfortable dinner and felt very safe based on the current restaurant restrictions.
Thank you for your review and comments. We're glad that you celebrated Thanksgiving with us and enjoyed your meal. We hope that you will return soon. - Arthur's Terrace Team
Arnie was our waiter, he was extremely courteous and quite pleasant. This was our first time at Arthur’s Terrace Restaurant and it was amazing! Food was so good, atmosphere was classy. Will definetly return for another fine dining experience!!

We really appreciated the spacing of tables, due to COVID-19, and felt safe eating here. I was disappointed with the omelet I received because it was burned crisp around the edges. We appreciated that our server did not rush us and allowed us to sit and talk for quite some time.
DebraM, thank you for taking time to leave feedback about your recent dining experience. We're glad to hear that you appreciated our COVID-19 precautions and your server. We're sorry that you were disappointed with one of your meals. We hope that you will return for another dining experience here. - Arthur's Terrace Team
What a great all you can eat prime rib buffet, really nice staff throughout the entire restaurant.
