ASK Italian Epsom
It’s not that I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, I just can’t say I was overly impressed. I had chicken arrabiata , which to be honest wasn’t as good as an M&S microwave meal. It came out cold , and I just felt a £3 microwave meal would have been better. Service was slow , but friendly and there was a good atmosphere in there. Personally I’d either eat in an independent Italian or get a microwave meal.
We go with our grandchildren , they like the menu and we fine the restaurant a very pleasant place, complet with good food and good service.
I’ve been in Ask Epsom recently to celebrate mother’s day. The experience was amazing from start to finish. All staff was great and really good even with full restaurant. Food was great either. Exactly match everyone’s expectations. And at the end my wife was even surprised with a mother’s day gift. Really kind from restaurant. Definitely one of my favourites in Epsom. Special thanks to the manager Nasou, which gave us a very special meal experience.
The pizzas were fine but the pasta dish (sausage filled pasta parcels seemed not to be good value for money. The service was friendly and attentive. Our table for 6 was in a small rear section of the restaurant in Epsom and there was a strong draft coming through the gap between the fire escape doors and down the chimney of the fireplace. We would have asked to move tables but the restaurant was full.
