My girlfriend and I go here every year for Valentine’s Day and every year it is a taste of perfection. The food is always amazing, the atmosphere is always great, they really decorate the restaurant beautifully. Coolest part is that they let you see into the kitchen so we get to see how everything goes down. This year they are renovating to make the place even better which is amazing, only complaints I ever heard about axtons were that renovations were still going on but if that bothers you then you have other issues to deal with, sorry. 10/10 every time (highly recommended)!
As always the food and service were outstanding. Axton’s is my wife and I’s favorite place to dine.
The food was absolutely amazing. We started with the hot antipasto which was plentiful and delicious - four of us were able to share it. My shrimp risotto was done right, flavorful and creamy. Portions were so generous that we all had plenty of food to take home. Unfortunately, we ended up seated at the table by the entrance which was a little bit cold and drafty. Hoping to score a better table next time.

We went to dinner for the first time. Service started really well and then diminished. Waitress would not come over very often. We waited a really long time for her to take our order. We waited a long time for check to come. Food was nothing special. For the price I expected a really amazing meal. I have had better pasta from many places I have been to in the area. Everything was just okay. Pretty disappointed. I would give it a try again. I’m hoping that maybe it was an off night.
Food is always good. Service is friendly with a smile. Good job and we will be back.

The filet special was outstanding - mashed potatoes were creamy, the broccoli rabe was perfect, filet was cooked perfect at medium, tasty and tender, topped with shrimp. The ricotta/pistachio cheese cake was light and fresh tasting. So delicious!

Waited about 10 minutes to be seated. There seem to be some kind of confusion with the computer seating.

A wonderful experience from making the reservation through to paying the check. It was easy to make reservations, even with COVID restrictions. I left a message as we had a larger group and someone called me back that same day. We had our temperatures checked when we arrived. Service was excellent - attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was great - very large portions.
Liked the varied menu, good for carnivores and vegans. we had the Jeckyll and Hyde calmari and stuffed eggplant to start. Then the shrimp and chicken special and the vegan ristotto primavera, which is hard to find, usually made with meat stock- Excellent and the portion sizes were huge!

My second time dining at this restaurant and my wife’s first. I told her it would be amazing and it was. From the mussels appetizer to our entrees everything was perfect. Service was attentive and courteous. Highly recommend.
Again! An awesome dinner. Friends came with us for the !st time and loved it. We had Susan as our server (everytime we've been there). She is completey wonderful. Food was aewsome. Highly recommend.
