The Miami restaurant will be composed of two Japanese culinary concepts – the main dining being a robata concept and the hidden room in the back called 'The Den' which will be a 16-seat counter serving only authentic Japanese sushi.
The menu will feature innovative dishes curated especially for Miami by using exclusively sourced ingredients. The hidden sushi room will feature authentic sushi in Omakase style, where sushi chefs will guide guests through a true experience.

Outstanding experience! I enjoyed every single bite!
Great food, great service very comfortable atmosphere.
The service and food was very good. We sat outside because it was decent weather.
fresh, delicious and beautifully presented food in a very nice room; friendly and fast service.
Love it but the prices are crazy
Beautiful ambiance , good food , excellent service .
Excellent and eclectic sushi preparation. Highly recommended.
Amazing omakase experience. Perfect service and high quality dishes and fish.
good food!too much noise from the bar....
my daugther 4 years old eated everything
Great food just hate that is in the lobby of a tacky hotel
Fantastic experience. I truly recommend this place, great location and great food. One of the better restaurants on the beach.
Ugly. Sad. Poor service. Disorganized. Please lower your rating on this spot. Awful and dismal.
Terrible services - Waiter/waitresses were not around. Just drop off the food and ran off. I have to flag down a manager to get a fork for my son. Took 20 minutes to get the fork. Have to flag down another waitress to get me extra wasabi and ginger, she said no problem, but did not bring it. Asked for another person to bring it, took them another 15 minutes. No waiter around to help although the place is not big with at least 3 waiters/waitresses around. The worst is actually the part I complained to the Manager. It is inside of the Marriott hotel so I know I will come back, so I complained to the manager. Instead of focusing on my feedback about their services, he is focus on the mandatory tips. I told him that I don't care about the mandatory tips, as I take it as part of the meal, but want to ensure the services improve. He kept going back to explaining the mandatory services. The price of that restaurant is comparable to Nobu, but Nobu has exceptional services. I think the poor services is due to the manager does not know how to manage the restaurant, as it is evident by his handling of my complain. Next time, Nobu. Too bad!
We sat outside, it was comfortable and noise level was perfect for chatting. We enjoyed the food and the experience. Would go back. Also very affordable compared to most of Sobe.
Very good food and excellent service.
Knowledgeable wait staff
Delicious food with outstanding presentation
Good place to eat.
This was our 6th or 7th time @ our mostest favorite restaurant in Miami - The Den for omakase. The quality of the fish, the preparations, the sushi chefs, the waitstaff, the sake sommelier, everything is superb. The sushi chefs never skip a beat - everything is spot on. As soon as we leave, we plan the next visit.
Honeymoon. Very nice, relaxing, delicious food.
This was my second visit to the omakase den in the back and 3rd trip to the restaurant .. it’s incredible. We had omakase and tuna tastings plus some same flights. This is the best! And we love chef shingo too!
Service- our waiter was very good. Attentive, knew the menu very well. Made the experience.
The ambience was great. Low noise level which was nice since we were there for a business dinner/meeting.
Food- being chosen as best of 2018 we were expecting great food.. not on my top 10 for sushi.. would not recommend. Maybe it’s a “Miami” thing...
We live one block away. We have visited a half-dozen times. Why is it that the hostesses of this place always treat us like we are the least desirable customers around? We had a reservation at 7pm, and the place was entirely empty. They showed us, as they usually do, to the worst possible table. We balked, and they acted like all the other tables were committed to other people. Finally we got a better table, not the one we had pointed to, but not too bad. My wife asked to see the Miami Spice menu, the response was "I have to ask the manager". We didn't insist, they never brought it. We ordered from the regular menu. The food was good, we ended up spending over $350 for two. It was not THAT good. Next time we will insist on Miami Spice. See you next year. Toni's sushi bar is not that far away...
Not sure what the fuzz is about. Average food, service, ambiance and location. Nothing extraordinary. Even noted in reservation that it was a special occasion, Anniversary Dinner and they did not acknowledge or celebrate as other restaurants do.
Service was not good- items came out very late and cold. Food was ok.
