   Happy Hour from 2-5 is a great deal. Half price all drinks and bottles of wine in addition to half price pizza. The food was delicious. Service was good. Food prices are fairly reasonable. Full price drinks are pretty expensive. We will go back! Thanks for a great evening.

   This is my fifth or sixth time at Barbarella. The food, ambience and service is always fantastic. My experience on Sunday was particularly pleasurable as our server John was wonderful. I will continue to come back for very much enjoyed drinks and food!

   Amazing! The decor is stunning and offers a upscale, relaxed, chill vibe. The food was delicious and I like the casual, easy-going yet professional service. Highly recommend a visit.

   This new Concorde restaurant does not disappoint. Very fun atmosphere, gdoo service, great menu selection. Noise level is high, very open concept but a fun vibe for visiting with friends over drinks with fireplaces and couch seating.

   We came for happy hour pizza and drinks; it was so good and such good value. We had the pecorino and the tomato pizzas with a side of the warm cauliflower salad. Highly recommend.

    Unbelievable food and service. Despite being an Italian restaurant they offer gluten free options (pasta included). I’ve chosen to suffer the gluten consequences the 3 times I’ve went and it’s WORTH IT. Nice to know if I chose my gluten free life they can accommodate :) I will be back. Also, do yourself a favour and get an espresso martini

    This is my first time to Barbarella. I went in particular because it was advertised as participating in Calgary dining week. When we got there, though, and sat down, they told us the Calgary dining week menu was only available at dinner time. This isn’t indicated anywhere on their website or in any of the promotional material. It was really disappointing. Anyways, I had the pasta with clams, which was really quite unfortunately dripping with oil. I ate about half of it. It was very noisy. The service was OK but certainly not particularly attentive or professional. They took our order and dropped off our food so if that’s what you’re looking for in terms of service you’ll be OK. I don’t think I’ll be back to Barbarella.

    Been 3 times now, had several different dishes, no real misses, all very well prepared, interesting, generous portions and complex flavours. Cavatelli and Tiger Prawns will have me coming back; pizza is a fine lunch item, but at that price point other places do a better job. Concord Group sure know how to roll out a great restaurant. Well done.

    March 23/23 was our second dining experience in the past month, both times a party of 4. Both dining experiences were exceptional. Yesterday we shared the endive salad, calamari, 2 pastas and 2 pizzas (too much food as portions are generous). Everything we have tried so far has been terrific and we love the restaurant vibe and service. Our new favorite restaurant by far!!!

    Ambiance and food was great. Really enjoyed our YYC Food and drink menu that was offered at the time. Our complaint was the service where our server didn’t take back our menus and did not follow up with drinks. My jacket fell off the chair and the staff just looked at it on the ground before I picked it up and they did not offer a coat check. The only reason why I knew there was a coat check was seeing another customer get his coat from a staff. Overall great lively place and it was nice to be inside and appreciate the decor and food but service for us lacked unfortunately.

    Very noisy, tables are often too close to each other. The food descriptions on the menu were far more exciting than the food itself. Service was a bright spot on the evening. I’m in no rush to go back.

    The food is incredible, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated for our reservation. The food came out so quickly, we ordered a bottle of wine but had been served our food and wine came out 10-15 minutes after the food. We also asked to taste 2 wines before we decided on a bottle and were charged for the tastings without being told there was a charge. Overall I would say this place is awesome for the food but the little details were missed above. We had a great time and I would come back.

    First visit to Barbarella during YYC restaurant week and really enjoyed the $35 3-course prix fixe menu. My wife and I had the opportunity to try each item prix fixe menu. Each dish was delicious, but the beef short rib rigatoni and affogato ice cream dessert were standouts for me. We will definitely be back and try reserving the sofa and coffee table seating for post-theater drinks.

    Our second visit, all at lunch time (3rd visit today to try new dishes). Music level was quite low and didn’t interfere with conversation. We went for early lunch, very quiet until the place filled up and became lively and boisterous, could still hear everyone fine. Vibe and hubbub is a good thing. Sitting in the “lounge” area tables by the window is quite quiet the whole lunch; seating at the bar (“counter” seating) was fun and still very easy to have conversation; “table” seating past the bar was the most noisy but still fine. They have a lot of staff, servers, runners, etc, servers are young and maybe a bit green, but overall service, timing, food pace was spot on every visit. Menu is very different than LuLu Bar, Bridgette Bar or Major Tom, all unique and feel like independent restaurants, not big Corporate cookie cutters. Food is creative and very well prepared and very good. Have only had one dish twice, perfectly consistent.

    Barbarella did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous offering more casual sofas, intimate booths and regular tables. Service staff was attentive but not intrusive. Now for the best part - the food! Take it from an Italian, the food was authentic and delicious. The presentation was gorgeous making it a feast for all the senses. Cocktails were imaginative and too easy to drink! I loved that they had some unusual and unique wine by the glass options. Definitely a must go to restaurant. Please be forewarned that the restaurant is two stories without an elevator so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a main floor table.

    Barbarella is delish! And the manager there is so great and accommodating when me and my guest ended up needing to move tables. Great good and super fun vibe inside. I nice lively addition to the area.

    Our server Michayla was incredible! Super friendly and very attentive. Food and ambiance were great. House red wine was not very good but the chianti by the glass was awesome. Thanks again - we will be back.

    We like barbarella but a few things went wrong with our meal on Sunday. First, the hostess told us to give coat check tags to the server at the end of our meal, but our server told us to give them to the hostess. When I asked the hostess to get our coats she rolled her eyes and said "okay" very shortly - it was weird. Our server also wasn't attentive during our meal. We had to ask another server to go get them so we could order our meals (we had been sitting for almost an hour without being asked to put our order in). She then offered bread to finish our hazelnut dip with (which we ordered as an appetizer), this didn't get brought out until well after our meal was done. We assumed this was complimentary because of the poor service, nope we were charged $12 for it. Would have been nice to know that was additional. Super weird experience, we've been here two other times and it was great but this recent time was bad. It was a business dinner too, so the poor service definitely impacted our meeting. Won't be back here unfortunately.

    I had such a lovely time at Barbarella! I brought two friends with me for a fancy lunch date; we arrived a little late for our reservation and the staff graciously held our spot, our coats were taken to coat check upon arriving, the waitress was very informative about vegan menu options for my friend and answered all my questions about dessert, the food and drinks were amazing, the house made limoncello was divine, the space was gorgeous and not too loud, and the cheque came with gorgeous little post cards and fish shaped paper clips! We had a phenomenal time I highly recommend Barbarella especially during happy hour!

    Horrible first experience. Booked a reservation and couldn't honour the reservation. Jumped around the restaurant for a table. Don't recommend at all and definitely not coming back.

    Good food. Great atmosphere - lively and fun. Was disappointed the pre-fixe had to be for the table only. Makes it impossible with allergies, etc. That’s the downside of a large, corporate restaurant.
