For Luis Bettencourt, and Rosa Bettencourt there is only good cuisine and bad cuisine. Yours defines it as a cuisine of flavor: refined taste, perfect technique and excellent product. Delicious food and the Bartender/waiter/ owner was fantastic. He does it all with grace and style. We look forward to a return visit soon.

Food was delicious, drinks were great. I believe it’s just the husband running the bar and taking care of tables while the wife is the chef. Service is a bit slow but the food and drinks and the decor make up for it.

The owner is the waiter and his wife is the chef. He was very helpful in picking out wine and describing the entrees.The chorizo stuffed yucca appetizer was delicious, I wish there was a bit more sauce. The entrees were large portions and very good. The chocolate mousse was delicious! The restaurant is decorated beautifully. My only complaint was the loud obnoxious music that was playing.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent cocktails and ambiance. Only one server who did everything except take our order. The host was lovely and warm, likely the owner. There were a couple of large tables (one big group) that arrived after we placed our order. It made it difficult for them to manage their needs and ours. the food was fresh and flavorful. It was just loud and slow service towards the end of our meal.

For a Portuguese restaurant, the food didn’t have much (if any) flavor. French fries were only warm.

Everything that we ordered was delicious. We had the bread and cheese, house red wine, filet mignon gnocchi (special), surf and turf, shrimp mozambique, BarCa seafood, tiramisu, flan, and rice pudding. Been to Portuguese restaurants in Tiverton, RI and New Bedford. BarCa is hands down the best!

The food was delicious and the service was perfect! You must order the white cheese..it was like nothing we’ve ever had before! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

We had a reservation for 5pm. We were seated at 5:40pm. It was Mother’s Day so we understood. However once we were seated, we were brought two baskets of bread that we didn’t ask for but were charged for at the end of the meal. It then took 20 minutes to receive our drinks. Once we ordered (which we ordered everything at once to try and speed things up), it took two hours to receive our entrees. The food was amazing don’t get me wrong. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. However, there was one waitress for the whole restaurant and we could tell she’s not usually a waitress. They were out of many things and we even got charged for an extra beer that we never ordered. Overall we probably won’t be returning. We arrived at 4:50pm (10 minutes before our reservation) and left there at just past 8:30 at night. The owner was nice enough but for the price, it was not a good experience.

First time there the food was great will go back again . The staff was excellent . The atmosphere was very classy, but comfortable.
