The food is above and beyond. This is not a steak place, or burger joint, or seafood house. This is where foodies go. The dishes are artistic and savory. I’m in awe of the creativity.

Food is always good but it is hard to carry a conversation with the noise level. While I prefer the bronzino, the restaurant had red snapper so I decided to try it. What was represented as a pound and a half fish only yielded about 5 ounces of meat. At a cost of $45 for just the fish, I won’t be getting that again.

It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I feel like all the staff involved in our dining experience made it so special and memorable! The food was also great! Can’t wait to go back next time we are in town!

It was my first time here and our group absolutely LOVED everything. The atmosphere is so relaxing and up scale that you don’t feel like you’re in Wilmington. The food was absolutely amazing, we even had picky eaters that were trying new foods. The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and that made it more of an experience than just dining out. I’ve already recommended Bardea to all my co-workers and family. Will definitely be returning.

Food was delicious... A little on the pricey side, i would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fine food and drinks.

So so special. Bardea exceeded our expectations...and we came with very high expectations, indeed. We all loved every plate we ordered but the gyoza, the octopus, and the gnocchi were all memorable. And then our pizza arrived. The pizza alone makes Bardea a world-class place. It is equal to or better than the best places in Philly and NY. We will return very soon

We love the food here enough to brave the atmosphere once a year or so. Forget about having a conversation there. There's little in the way of sound dampening, and the music is just WAY too loud. My hearing is fine, but with a mask, music and patrons, it was nearly impossible to hear the waitress.

Food though. Worth the ear splitting ambiance every once in awhile.

Great food, great drinks/cocktails. Appropriately distanced. Service is fantastic and host staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place for a celebration dinner with class or romantic meal

We eat regularly at Bardea. Each time we visit the restaurant the food seems to be better than the last time, if that is even possible.
Anyone looking for fine imaginative food in this area in a relaxed atmosphere, Bardea is for you.

Amazing food and service. Will deifinitely come back if in Wilmington again. Im from NYC and hard to impress, but Bardea did!

Best advice... Don't NOT order something new because you think you know what it is. I mean, who would order celery root? ME! Again and again! SOOO DELICIOUS!
Burrata Pop Tart! OMG.

Best food in town, but very loud. Looking forward to their opening an outside patio. Don’t miss the gnocchi and the burriata pot tart! Great service.

As you all know the venue is simply too loud! As we are senior attendees we are less appreciative of the loud thumping vibrations which we assume appeal to younger clients. I know you’ve tried to correct the noise level - it just precludes conversation. In fact even younger customers were shouting at each other to maintain their conversations .... we could hear them! As long as you’re filled to capacity we understand your lack of interest to remedy the noise level. The food is wonderfully creative replete with significant delicious flavors. Memorable.

It was nice. I would go back. Not overly wowed, but it was good. Had a nice time.

One of the most innovative and interesting places I have been in a long time. The food and drink quality is superb. The service is exceptional. This is a Michelin restaurant at Wilmington prices. Highly recommend.

Bardea was wonderful!!! Everything from the food to the service was great. I went there for my birthday and felt super special. We got the charred octopus, tortellini and spicy honey pizza and they were all incredible. Can’t recommend it enough!

Food, drinks, and service are always great!

Service is absolutely impeccable, food had a stunning presentation and had innovative and delicious twists in classics (the calamari is insane). The oak wood tart is always my favorite.

Dining room was very full, tables were closer than 6 feet and I was very uncomfortable with COVID precautions. Food was great! Service was slow and inattentive. Noise levels make it hard to have a quiet conversation.

Amazing. I live in Virginia Beach,Va. I would dine here every week if I lived close by. Run don’t walk to dine here. It will not disappoint.

Great atmosphere. Food was delicious. Difficult to read menu since lighting is dark. Very loud every table was taken.

Food and service were excellent.

We had dinner for four on Friday night and it was pleasantly full but not packed. The atmosphere and lighting was perfect and our server, friendly and attentive. The homemade pasta was amazing and the bbq flavor of the calamari, unique and memorable. I love octopus and I’d say they overdid the seasoning/sauce here. Sometimes less is more, so I hope they revisit this preparation! Portions are small for the price but a really fun and chic place to have delicious shared plates with friends. One other thing, the fish “for the table” was a really small portion for four adults! That was a little disappointing. We’ll be back for sure!

Always a fabulous experience

The cherry bbq wings, calamari, and caramelized bananas & doughnut were to die for! Happy hour prices were unbelievable, bartenders were awesome, music was great, and the little birthday touches from the staff were so perfect! We loved every minute of our dinner! So happy we decided to check it out, will be back ASAP!

Food was delicious, just be careful if you order the porterhouse steak at market price. We didn’t realize it was going to be $138 for ONE steak!!! It was excellent but if I had know the price I wouldn’t have ordered it. The server was slow to take our order and follow up only average. We have eaten here before with better service.

I asked if they had chocolate gelato for
my kid, and they didn't. So their wait staff and kitchen went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make my daughter a special kid-friendly dessert with chocolate and gelato. They've probably forgotten about it but it will stay with us for a long time. The rest of the meal was predictably delicious and well paced.
